ENGLISH DESCRIPTION More exciting than her novels: the controversial and thrilling autobiography of Agatha Christie. "A fascinating read that is read with passion". The Times Over the three decades since her death in 1976, many readers and critics of Agatha Christie have argued that her most compelling book is the least known: her Autobiography. Despite her successes, she was always a very private person, going to extravagant lengths to avoid public appearances. She surrounded her life with a veil of mystery almost as impenetrable as her novels. In this work, she recounts the happy years of her childhood abroad, the romantic flings of her youth, her two marriages, the setbacks at the start of her writing career, and the gradual achievement of her success. It is the autobiography of someone who knew how to enjoy life and, at the same time, a study of a conscious professional, a writer who knew exactly what her job was and how she carried it out.
