Since the advent of intensive poultry production worldwide, farmers have grappled with severe diseases and substantial economic losses. In order to keep pace with the expanding poultry industry and meet the increasing demand for poultry products, a solid understanding and practical knowledge of poultry disease prevention and control will be essential. This book aims to provide veterinary students with a comprehensive understanding of poultry diseases. Additionally, the book will be beneficial to personnel at poultry disease diagnostic laboratories and forward-thinking farmers. The book is divided into seven sections, covering avian, bacterial, viral, fungal, parasitic, nutritional deficiency, and miscellaneous disorders affecting poultry. The book includes a total of 74 chapters in a concise format. The book emphasizes the etiology, transmission, epizootiology, clinical signs, gross and microscopic lesions, diagnosis, treatment, and control of poultry diseases. When necessary, the book also discusses zoonoses. The book includes relevant images and tables to enhance understanding of the diseases.
