Enneads Of Plotinus V1: The Ethical Treatises And Psychic And Physical Treatises – hinnat ja saatavuus

Enneads of Plotinus V1: The Ethical Treatises and Psychic and Physical Treatises is a philosophical work by Plotinus, an ancient Greek philosopher who lived in the 3rd century AD. This book is part of a larger collection of works known as the Enneads, which are organized into six volumes. This particular volume contains a collection of Plotinus' ethical treatises, which explore the nature of the good and the virtues, as well as his psychic and physical treatises, which examine the relationship between the soul and the body. The ethical treatises discuss various topics such as the nature of happiness, the virtues of courage, justice, and wisdom, and the concept of the One, which is the ultimate source of all good. Plotinus argues that the ultimate goal of human life is to achieve unity with the One, which can be attained through philosophical contemplation and the cultivation of the virtues. The psychic and physical treatises explore the relationship between the soul and the body. Plotinus argues that the soul is immortal and exists independently of the body, but that it is also connected to the body and influenced by its physical condition. He also discusses the nature of perception, memory, and imagination, and their relationship to the soul. Overall, Enneads of Plotinus V1: The Ethical Treatises and Psychic and Physical Treatises is a valuable resource for anyone interested in ancient Greek philosophy, ethics, and metaphysics. It provides insight into Plotinus' ideas about the nature of the good, the virtues, and the soul, and their relevance to human life. This Is A New Release Of The Original 1917 Edition.
