This inspiring chronicle of one woman's experience with breast cancer will speak to anyone who is faced with a serious health challenge. Arleen Lorrance has devoted her life to living and teaching six love principles she originated in 1970 and which transformed the school where she taught. In 2010 when she was told she had breast cancer she made the conscious choice to surround the cancer cells with love energy rather than view them as enemies with which to do battle. From the day of diagnosis she shared her process with a wide circle of family and friends asking them to support her in that intention. The book includes her reflections every step of the way through the mastectomy and reconstruction as well as responses by others who shared their own experiences. To guide her healing, she used The Love Principles and the wisdom she had accumulated over four decades as a personal growth facilitator. The result is a down-to-earth example of an authentic life in which inner convictions are aligned with outer actions.
