Retribution – hinnat ja saatavuus

An award-winning author of over 70 book titles, Michael Walsh in the 1990s began work on his epic novel, a task that has taken 30 years to complete. The world traveller and Africa expert knew the plot had to be believable. There was only one way to achieve this; to write a novel that draws on his real-life experiences. In many respects, the book is painfully biographical. The reader will feel it as he or she turns the pages. The novel is based on a mercenary's intended vacation in his native Liverpool. His break goes awry when, during a chance meeting with his ex-fianc he learns that his teenage daughter, whom he has never met, is ensnared by the city's lowlife. It is an epic fail on their part. After being drawn into the 1960s Congo Crisis and Simba Rebellion Fraser McLeod emerged as a lethal humanoid. Further years in Rhodesia's anti-insurgency Bush Wars turned the dog-of-war into a cunning and resourceful predator. Camouflaged by the inner-city's itinerant lowlife his daughter's trail has gone cold. The action heats up when the merciless MacLeod vanishes into the maritime city's social underworld. Those whose trade is debt and death; flesh and illegal substances know how to discourage the prying. However, they are no match for a prowling marauder for whom death is no more to be feared than birth. The soldier of fortune turned arms dealer has a single lead and an unquenchable thirst for vengeful justice. This page-turning nail-biting novel draws heavily on the real-life experiences of the internationally recognised author. Readers Tributes 'Retribution is the greatest movie never made' William Housman. 'An excellent thriller written in the tense style of a John Le Carre spymaster novel' Brian Smyth.
