Shadows Fall On Rosarito – hinnat ja saatavuus

A gay man is killed in Olympia, Washington, the victim of what appears to be a professional, contract assassination. Meanwhile a young secretary from Olympia is kidnapped while on vacation in Rosarito, Mexico. The two crimes are related, and the common denominator is Eli Baker, the Shadow Hunter "At night, Rosarito bares its teeth, not in a brazen manner, for that would not be good for the tourist trade. The hotel row remains unsullied as darkness falls, the streets are dutifully swept, the beaches meticulously cleaned, a constant process to keep up appearances and woo even more revenue . . . but . . . venture off the main thoroughfares onto side streets, wander down the alleyways, stroll just beyond the sounds of gaiety, and you will find a different form of commerce, one not found in any brochure at any travel agency. There you'll find the alley bats and mules selling, and buying, angel tears, bammers, poppers, wollies, or a variety of snuff films, all for the price of a decent mocha back in Des Moines, Iowa. "There you'll find commerce at its most basic level." The shadow Eli continually hunts has chosen Rosarito as the battleground for an epic struggle neither of them can win. The only question, then, is how high will the body count be when this round of the struggle has ended? "Shadows Fall On Rosarito" is the fourth book in the Shadows Series featuring Eli Baker. His opponent is Evil, not in the descriptive sense of the word but the personification of, every child's worst nightmare, the source of all that is demented and unthinkable in this world. Baker cannot destroy Evil, but he finds satisfaction in knowing he can, at least, annoy the hell out of It from time to time.
