Sneaking out to investigate, he finds none other than Santa's sleigh standing unattended. Faced with a once in a lifetime chance to ride in the iconic sleigh, Billy climbs aboard and hides just as a pair of elves approach. With a lurch, the transport soars into the sky. During the flight, Billy notices the most breathtaking red jewel nestled in the back wall of the sleigh. What Billy doesn't realize is that the now missing jewel, known as the Heart of Polaris, is the source of all Christmas magic, including the protection of the town from the wicked and covetous Jack Frost, who has been waiting eons for his chance to seize back the lands he believes were taken from him by Santa and his accursed town. Now that Heart of Polaris has gone missing, there is nothing to stop Jack Frost and his army of ice creatures from launching a full-scale invasion. What started out, as the most magical night of Billy's life has become a nightmare born of his own meddling hands. Billy, Santa and the elves must band together in a race against time.
