Testimonial by Governor Mike Huckabee: On November 13, 1982, Ron Miller personally leased an L-1011 from Delta Airlines and took 300 Vietnam Veterans to the dedication of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D. C. As a result of his remarkable efforts, President Ronald Reagan asked him to form the Georgia Vietnam Veterans Leadership Program, a volunteer organization that was recognized as one of the best in the nation by President George H. W. Bush, who presented Ron and the GVVLP with his prestigious Thousand Points of Light award for their service to Veterans and their families. Hopefully this story will encourage all Americans to reach out to others with their assistance. Testimonial by Col. Leo Thorsness, USAF (Ret.), Medal of Honor (was held prisoner in Hanoi, Vietnam, for six years; author, "Surviving Hell: A POW's Journey"): Readers will come away from Ron's book inspired and knowing that one man can make a difference. Ron devoted his life to help Veterans-to help those willing to give all for our country. Read Ron's book and you will have a checklist how to make a difference in your life, your community; your country. Testimonial by Maj. Gen. Patrick Brady, USA (Ret.), Medal of Honor, Vietnam (author, "Dead Men Flying" about Dust-off pilots in Vietnam): America has no kings or queens, no Dukes or Duchesses, but we do have nobility. America's nobility is called Veterans-Ron Miller is part of that nobility. His remarkable story is typical of so many veterans who come from humble origins and contribute so much to the country we love-they never stop serving. Men and women like Ron are true patriots who prove their love of America by supporting and defending her, unlike the multitude of faux patriots who claim to love America but do nothing to support and defend her. And men and women like Ron give lie to the media lies of the Vietnam veteran as a homeless helpless miscreant. The Vietnam Veteran is a productive and patriotic citizen as is Ron and his book is a perfect example of one Vietnam veteran's extraordinary service to the country they love.
