Nanotechnology is a relatively new field of science that is finding its way with enormous scope in both medical and dental science. Its provides the need of understanding and achieving cell specific functions. Materials used in Nanotechnology are termed as nano biomaterials which can occur naturally, are created as the by-products of combustion reactions, or be produced purposefully through engineering to perform a specialised function. Regeneration of periodontal tissues, so that their original form, architecture and function are restored, has been an elusive but laudable goal but it can be achieved by the use of Nano biotechnology or Periodontal tissue engineering. The conducive environment used in this concept requires the presence of cells, scaffold, and signalling molecules. There are various uses of Nanotechnology in terms of dentistry especially in terms of pulpodentinal complex, regeneration of periodontal regeneration and implants in terms of periodontics per se. Hence with the concept of Nano biotechnology and science of biomaterials a new intervention has come into picture in the field of dentistry and in the world in general.

In this book, there are eight short stories. Every single story has its unique ending. It all started at the beginning of 2013. While conducting the spoken English class in my centre, I was asked by a few of my students whether I would be able to write a story in English or not. I am not a student of any English medium school. I only had learnt spoken English course from a centre. After learning for almost three years, I started to teach spoken English course to my students. That day, it was impossible for me to reply. I took it as a challenge. I started reading novels by famous authors so that I could write my story. In December of the same year, I commenced my first story. In every corner of my house, I could find the ideas for writing new stories. I interviewed some of my acquaintances in order to write true stories. So, some of them are based on true incidents. Since I was writing them in story format, therefore, I had to add some fictitious characters and places with the true incidents to make them more interesting in reading. The name of my first story was 'The Dreadful day.'
