Näköispainos Aleister Crowleyn “Tannhäuser – A Story of All Time” -näytelmän vuonna 1907 ilmestyneestä toisesta painoksesta. Teos on Crowleyn versio 1200-luvun saksalaisesta minnelaulaja Tannhäuserin legendasta. Crowleyn näytelmämuotoon kirjoittamassa versiossa, johon hän itse viittasi nimellä “The History of the Soul”, vaelteleva ruusuristiläinen runoilija seikkailee niin ihmisten, jumalten kuin demonien maailmoissa etsien totuutta ja harmoniaa ja tietoisuuden ja rakkauden mysteereitä. Tannhäuserin mietteiden avulla teos tutkii monimutkaisia teemoja, kuten maallisten himojen ja henkisen kilvoittelun välistä kamppailua. Crowleyn näytelmä peilaa maagikon omaa mielenkiintoa mystiikkaan sekä lihallisten halujen ja jumalallisen inspiraation väliseen leikkiin. Vaikkakin teos sai ristiriitaisen vastaanoton ilmestyessään, siitä kasvoi vuosien mittaan merkittävä thelemiittinen teksti, joka on tärkeässä roolissa Crowleyn maagisuskonnollisessa järjestelmässä Ordo Templi Orientiksessa. Crowley antaa lukijalla avaimet tekstiin Kandyssa vuonna 1901 kirjoittamassaan esipuheessa, jossa hän vertaa näytelmänsä juonta John Bunyanin kristillisiä allegorioita tursuvaan klassikkoon “The Pilgrim's Progress” (1678). Crowley neuvoo lukijaa tarkkailemaan Tannhäuseria kirjan ainoana “oikeana” hahmona, muiden ollessa vain päähenkilö tajunnan heijastumia. Abraxas Publishingin julkaisu on näköispainos kirjan toisesta vuonna 1907 Crowleyn oman pienkustantamon Society for the Propagation of Religious Truthin aka S. P. R. T.:n julkaisusta. Tässä ns. “uudessa” painoksessa Crowley hyödynsi pääosin ylimääräiseksi jääneitä sitomattomia sivuja alkuperäisestä Kegan Paul, Trench, Trübner & Co.:n vuoden 1902 julkaisusta. Crowley oli pettynyt Kegan Paulin työhön hänen kirjojensa myyjänä, josta syystä hän otti julkaisukanavan omaan haltuunsa ja ryhtyi jakelemaan tekstejään S. P. R. T.-kustantamonsa kautta. Näköispainos on julkaistu A4-kokoisena sidottuna kovakantisena 222 kpl käsin numeroituna painoksena. Tummasinisissä keinonahkakansissa on kultafolioleimaukset etu- ja takakannessa sekä selässä. Päätypapereina ”Malmero Abysse” ja headbandina “Iranian turquoise”. Kirjan mukana tulee “Crowley in Ceylon” -kirjanmerkki.--Abraxas Publishing is proud to announce the release of its first full English language publication, the facsimile edition of Aleister Crowley's “Tannhäuser – A Story of All Time”. Crowley finished "Tannhäuser" in Kandy, Ceylon in the beginning of 1900s during a period when he and his mentor Allan Bennet were in middle of intense yogic practices. The book is Crowley's take on the 13th century legend of Minnesinger Tannhäuser. In Crowley's dramatic version, which he referred as “The History of the Soul”, the traveling Rosicrucian poet journeys in the world of gods, men and demons in search of truth and harmony. Through Tannhäuser's reflections the book explores complex themes, such as the clash between earthly passions and spiritual aspirations, foreshadowing the conflicts and transformations Tannhäuser experiences throughout the story. The drama reflects Crowley's fascination with mysticism and the interplay of earthly desire and divine inspiration. Tho overlooked at its time, Crowley's Tannhäuser play grew later into a seminal text in Thelema and in O. T. O. Crowley's gives the keys for deciphering the text in his preface written in Kandy in 1901 where he connects the drama's scheme with John Bunyan's “The Pilgrim's Progress” (1678). Crowley advices the reader to observe Tannhäuser as the only “real” character of the play and other characters just merely reflections of the traveling poet's own consciousness. The publications is a facsimile reprint of the second edition published through Crowley's own publishing house Society for the Propagation of Religious Truth aka S. P. R. T. in 1907. In the “new” edition Crowley used mainly unbound pages left over from the original 1902 Kegan Paul, Trench, Trübner & Co.'s publication. Crowley's disappointment with Kegan Paul's management of his book sales spurred him to distribute his own works via S. P. R. T. The facsimile edition is published in large format hardback edition of 222 hand-numbered copies. Front and back cover and spine stamped with gilt. Binding: sewn. Endpapers: Malmero Abysse. Headband: Iranian turquoise. The book comes with a limited edition “Crowley in Ceylon” -bookmark.

2024 Hardcover Reprint of the three Grimoires bound into one volume. This omnibus edition reprints the three great magical works of King Solomon in one volume. The Key of Solomon the King was originally researched and translated by S. L. MacGregor Mathers from ancient manuscripts in the British museums. The work is traditionally divided into two books detailing the Key of King Solomon. The Lesser Key of Solomon 1904], or the Clavicula Salomonis Regis, or Lemegeton, is a compilation of materials and writings from ancient sources making up a text book of magic or "grimoire." Portions of this book can be traced back to the mid-16th to 17th centuries, when occult researchers such as Cornelius Agrippa and Johannes Trithemisus assembled what they discovered during their investigations into ancient texts. The Greater Key 1914] lists and describes a variety of purifications an exorcist should undergo. Instructions are given on clothing, magical devices, and even animal sacrifices. The Testament of Solomon 1898] is attributed to King Solomon of the Old Testament. Written in the first-person narrative, the book tells the story of the creation of the magical ring of King Solomon and how Solomon's ring was used to bind and control demons, including Beelzebub. The manuscripts from which this work was discovered date from the 15th, 16th, and 17th centuries. All were written in Greek. This dating makes most experts believe that the work is medieval. But some scholars argue that it is likely that the work comes from the 5th or 6th centuries. Regardless of the dates, these texts provide an immensely interesting description of how King Solomon tamed various demons to build his temple. The text includes predictions of the coming of Christ, as one demon explains to Solomon that while he may be bound, the only thing that can truly take his power away is the man born from a virgin who will be crucified by the Jews.

Being the third and final volume of the publications of the Great White Brotherhood. Contains the magical tables etc. of Aleister & Associates newly re-typeset for modern audiences.
