Representation Theory and C*-algebras is devoted to the representation theory of solvable Lie groups and the associated non-commutative harmonic analysis including the study of C*-algebras. It contains full proofs of long-standing problems in the theory, including several polynomial conjectures and primitive zero ideals descriptions. It provides an in-depth study of their structural properties, the classification of unitary representations using the orbit method, and the underlying algebraic and analytic frameworks. The book is most suitable for doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, and researchers specializing in Lie theory, noncommutative geometry, functional analysis, operator algebras, and theoretical physics. Features · Complete solutions to polynomial conjectures (Corwin–Greenleaf and Duflo) in both nilpotent and exponential Lie group settings · Complete results to long-standing problems about intertwining operators and the structure of primitive ideals in the exponential setting · Comprehensive analysis of Casimir elements based on a new approach and their role in several related problems · Detailed study of C*-algebras of solvable Lie groups, via methods using the Fourier transform and the spectral analysis · Rich examples and counterexamples, including Heisenberg, thread-like, and G6 groups · Bridge between classical and modern methods in representation theory, with applications to harmonic analysis and mathematical physics.
Deformation Theory of Discontinuous Groups
This project is a second edition of the textbook: Deformation Theory of Discontinuous Groups (De Gruyter 2022). It is devoted to studying various geometric and topological concepts related to the deformation and moduli spaces of discontinuous group actions, and building some interrelationships between these concepts. It presents full proofs of recent results, computes fundamental examples, and serves as an introduction and reference for students and researchers in Lie theory, discontinuous groups, and deformation spaces. A part of the first edition, the setting of affine actions is introduced and new ideas and methods are developed with full proofs. The setting of compact extensions is also re-written with new approaches and proofs. It also contains the most recent developments of the theory, extending from basic concepts to a comprehensive exposition, and highlighting the newest approaches and methods in deformation theory. It also includes the most recent solutions to many open questions over the last decades and brings related newest research results in this area. For specialists and beginners in deformation theory, the settings of Heisenberg and Threadlike cases are differently re-written with full details and proofs.

The purpose of the book is to discuss the latest advances in the theory of unitary representations and harmonic analysis for solvable Lie groups. The orbit method created by Kirillov is the most powerful tool to build the ground frame of these theories. Many problems are studied in the nilpotent case, but several obstacles arise when encompassing exponentially solvable settings. The book offers the most recent solutions to a number of open questions that arose over the last decades, presents the newest related results, and offers an alluring platform for progressing in this research area. The book is unique in the literature for which the readership extends to graduate students, researchers, and beginners in the fields of harmonic analysis on solvable homogeneous spaces.
Deformation Theory of Discontinuous Groups
This book contains the latest developments of the theory of discontinuous groups acting on homogenous spaces, from basic concepts to a comprehensive exposition. It develops the newest approaches and methods in the deformation theory of topological modules and unitary representations and focuses on the geometry of discontinuous groups of solvable Lie groups and their compact extensions. It also presents proofs of recent results, computes fundamental examples, and serves as an introduction and reference for students and experienced researchers in Lie theory, discontinuous groups, and deformation (and moduli) spaces.
