Climate denial is a readily used concept, often referring to a public debate discourse that challenges the views of mainstream climate scientists and advocates of environmental policy. Climate deniers fuel an economic and political campaign structured to undermine the public trust in climate science functions as a mechanism for doubt and manufactured uncertainty.
