"What we won't talk about owns us." The vortex of gender diatribes grows from an unwillingness to be open and real about the crap surrounding the topic. All the markers and external indicators of gender display are outdated, shaped by the marketplace, and create pain, even hopelessness. What I am is less important than who I am. Gender is a part of this, but shouldn't it be a less important part than character? We want to cast off the crap and simply love the shared me that springs from understanding, not from labels.
