Oral health is a reflection of general health. Oral health problems contributes significantly as they have social, economical and psychological consequences. They cause major negative impact on quality of life because of caries, Periodontal diseases, tooth loss, oral cancer, dental injuries, dental fluorosis, dental anamalies, craniofacial disorders and others. The factors of health and health care are changing. The two factors driving this change are recognition of the importance of social consequence of disease and acknowledgment that medical interventions aim to increase the length and quality of survival. For these reasons the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of health care are often evaluated by their impact on a patient's quality of life.
