Anthem

Anthem

Ayn Rand published her book, Anthem, in 1946. In the included foreword she provided, she bemoaned "people who accept collectivism by moral default" despite there being ample evidence of the bloody consequences of that approach. "Those who refuse to see it now are neither blind nor innocent." Sadly, though some seventy years have passed, that evidence has only accumulated and compounded, heaping body upon body, bones upon bones, mass graves over other mass graves. And yet, even now, 'collective' ideologies are still accepted as the 'moral default.' Ayn Rand's prescient book, Anthem, was a warning. But it was a warning unheeded, leaving us to wonder if there is any genocidal calamity that could take place that could shake the foundations of the inclination towards collectivism that we remain awash in.

Average Americans were told, "You will own nothing, and be happy." They are not happy, but now they have nothing, so have nothing left to lose. But what to do? A mysterious 'Corn King' proves to be the catalyst. The 'Corn King' explains how activist-soldiers like Saul Alinsky have targeted them, and reveals how Americans can turn the tables on their oppressors using the same tactics that were used against them. Individuals are tired of being chewed up and spit out in the progressive's bid to create a 'perfect society, ' but is it too late to do anything about it? In The Corn Siege, America finally ruptures, the rage spreading from 'fly over' country in a great wave that ultimately reaches the coasts, threatening to drown them. The Corn Siege is satirical fiction, not prophecy. It glories in skewering the people who believe we don't need farms because we have grocery stores. It mocks the people who believe you can plant a cow and harvest lettuce. In The Corn Siege, people get what they deserve: the harvest of the kinds of seeds they intentionally planted.

Something strange is happening. COVID-19 is spreading even where compliance with public health measures are high. Many people know this from personal experience. Friends, family, and possibly they themselves are getting ill, despite religiously wearing masks. How can this be? And yet ... it be This little book is not anti 'mask.' In fact, the whole purpose is to explain to people who have good reasons to worry about the coronavirus how the 'science' shows plainly that not all 'masks' are created equal, and so if one really wanted to protect themselves, one would need to completely alter the strategies they employ. That said, it calls into question the whole rationale for universal compulsory mask mandates, since they don't actually require masks that 'work.' If you are concerned about taking measures which actually work, which prevent pain and suffering, and even death, this book is for you. The "we're all in this together" crowd may wish to look elsewhere; any dystopian novel will do.

The last few decades have seen a fracturing of the United States which has led many to warn of violence, and indeed, even civil war. When two of the largest states, California and Texas, each contemplate secession, but for exactly opposite reasons, you can be sure that something is seriously broken. What it will look like when the country finally splinters is unknowable, but can it be prevented? Or, if not prevented, can the country be re-built in such a way that such a thing does not happen again? In this manifesto, Anthony Horvath explains why things are spiraling out of control and offers another ten amendments designed either to save the Union, or restore it. "It is all Greek to me " goes the joke, but actually, learning Greek isn't nearly as hard as people think. In this 'crash course' in New Testament (koine) Greek, students young and old can quickly learn how to use Bible reference tools such as concordances and interlinears. The purpose of this curriculum is not to turn someone into a Bible translator, although if you plan on more serious study of Greek and you presently know nothing, this course might be an excellent way to ramp up. The intuitive manner in which the basics of Biblical Greek are presented have allowed those as young as 7th graders to take their study of the New Testament right into the original language. If your goal is not to become a theologian, but you want to know enough Greek to look up words in a lexicon or see how the original Greek words are used elsewhere in the Scriptures, this course will do the trick. This introduction to New testament Greek will take your Bible studies to the next level Perfect for homeschoolers and other students who want to know just enough to get started. Once started, they sky is the limit. This edition is in hard cover, making it more durable than a soft cover and therefore suitable for a 'text book, ' A soft cover edition is also available, and might be useful for use as a student's workbook. This slim study of the Greek language is designed to lay a foundation for future learning while equipping the Bible student with the ability to handle reference tools such as a Greek lexicon, an interlinear, and exhaustive concordances. While this study will not make anybody a Bible translator, it will provide the basic knowledge necessary for making sense of reference tools and using them to delve deeper into the New Testament texts, greatly enriching one's study of the Scriptures. Much of the material in this study has been used in junior high, high school and collegiate classes, and indeed was eventually adapted for use online for an apologetics academy. Students as young as 7th grade (especially homeschooled students) and as old as the hills will find that this course allows them to learn enough Greek to be dangerous... in all the ways that phrase can be understood.
