Over the years, I've encountered many individuals who struggle with either starting the journey to healthier eating habits or learning how to maintain it. I wrote this book to not only share my story but to provide practical strategies on how to take the first step. Dictionary.com defines "Reset" as (I inserted my interpretation in parentheses): To set again (RE-ESTABLISH) To reset an alarm clock (WAKE UP) To reset a broken bone (FOR PROPER HEALING) To set, adjust, or fix in a new or different way (REALIGNMENT) To reset priorities (REFOCUS) Oftentimes, we can get overwhelmed by the big picture when all we need to do is start with one step. That one step leads to another and another. This year (2023) will make 13 years that I've been vegetarian. It started with a decision. I took a class that changed my mindset, and shifted my perspective. I'm praying this book will help you do the same. Whether you are seeking to maintain a healthier lifestyle, or just getting started, this beginner's guide will help build your confidence in being able to sustain the commitment you make to yourself, for yourself. Throughout the book, I share my journey and strategies that have helped me thrive in my lifestyle choice of vegetarianism. Even though I absolutely do not persuade others to be vegetarian, I do know that there are long-lasting benefits to incorporating healthier food options on a consistent basis. I stress, throughout the book, to start where you are and grow from there
