Cheech Marin

Z2 proudly presents Cheech & Chong’s: A Smoke Though Time. An original graphic novel about the famous doobie duo's offbeat take on the history of cannabis. In a world where everyone is questioning the truth, comedy legends Tommy Chong and Cheech Marin have teamed up to bring you the facts... That every important moment that ever happened ever--happened because of weed. Yup. That’s right.

Totally broke and out of weed, the world’s most iconic stoners--Pedro de Pacas (Cheech Marin) and Anthony “Man” Stoner (Tommy Chong)--are in a bad way. That is… until they get a call that changes their lives. Cheech’s old friend, a casino manager in Reno needs an emergency opening act for his stage show. If they can make it, the job is theirs. But what begins as a classic American road trip to score a**, grass and cash quickly morphs into a reefer-fueled toke through time in CHEECH & CHONG’S CHRONICLES: A BRIEF HISTORY OF WEED. This original graphic novel from Z2 Comics is the real history of Cannabis seen through the bloodshot eyes of the legendary comedy duo, Cheech & Chong.

Cheech Marin came of age at an interesting time in America and became a self-made counterculture legend with his other half, Tommy Chong. This long-awaited memoir delves into how Cheech dodged the draft, formed one of the most successful comedy duos of all time, became the face of the recreational drug movement with the film Up in Smoke, forged a successful solo career with roles in The Lion King and, more recently, Jane the Virgin, and became the owner of the most renowned collection of Chicano art in the world. Written in Cheech's uniquely hilarious voice, this memoir will take you to new highs.
