A Theory of Consciousness: How a Spirit and a Brain can be Combined
A new theory of what Consciousness is, and about how Consciousness Works. A very big bright image is formed by your consciousness and your seeing this image is actually eyesight. A lot of consciousness is made up of very bright and actually solid-feeling real images which through an illusion seem to be the solid physical world existing around you. A spirit is attached to your brain. The spirit obtains millions of bits of information from your brain, a lot of it coming from your eyes and from your other senses. And your spirit works on the millions of bits of information which comes to it from the brain, and the spirit uses the information to form a very big, really bright image, which creates your eyesight and shows you the image of the world around you. The image of the world which you see looks like the world existing very physically, but this is also your consciousness. So consciousness seems to be many solid physical things. For example with your eyesight, everything that seems to be the world existing solidly and physically around youis actually a very big bright image of the world. This image is very accurately shaped in 3 dimensions. And so its very accurate shaping in three dimensions could fool you into thinking it's the real world, rather than an image. For example if you have a building in front of your eyes, the sight that seems to be the real solid building is actually an image of the building, which you are seeing brightly, clearly, and that is perfectly three-dimensional. And it's only an illusion that the image you see with your eyesight, brightly and clearly, all seems to be the real physical objects. Some very important subjects in no particular order include: How Consciousness works. How a spirit is attached to your brain. How the spirit attached to a brain causes your normal muscle movements. There is a real form of life which is completely invisible which lives in brains. A Spirit lives in a symbiotic relationship with a brain, as two different forms of life which are attached to each other. Experiments with embryos in eggs could explore how a Spirit becomes Attached to a Brain. How a Brain controls its Spirit, and how the Spirit controls the Brain, a continual two way control exists. A Spirit and a brain work together. An experiment with Embryos inside eggs could literally actually expand consciousness, and give a spirit a life in eternity, and it could give the blind eyesight. Blind people all over the world could get perfect eyesight from small birds such as crows and parrots, and see through the bird's eyes to see again. Another experiment could explore scientifically how a Spirit and a brain really work together.

Winner of the STR Theatre Book Prize 2014The National Theatre Story is filled with artistic, financial and political battles, onstage triumphs – and the occasional disaster. This definitive account takes readers from the National Theatre’s 19th-century origins, through false dawns in the early 1900s, and on to its hard-fought inauguration in 1963. At the Old Vic, Laurence Olivier was for ten years the inspirational Director of the NT Company, before Peter Hall took over and, in 1976, led the move into the National’s concrete home on the South Bank. Altogether, the NT has staged more than 800 productions, premiering some of the 20th and 21st centuries’ most popular and controversial plays, including Amadeus, The Romans in Britain, Closer, The History Boys, War Horse and One Man, Two Guvnors. Certain to be essential reading for theatre lovers and students, The National Theatre Story is packed with photographs and draws on Daniel Rosenthal’s unprecedented access to the National Theatre’s own archives, unpublished correspondence and more than 100 new interviews with directors, playwrights and actors, including Olivier’s successors as Director (Peter Hall, Richard Eyre, Trevor Nunn and Nicholas Hytner), and other great figures from the last 50 years of British and American drama, among them Edward Albee, Alan Bennett, Judi Dench, Michael Gambon, David Hare, Tony Kushner, Ian McKellen, Diana Rigg, Maggie Smith, Peter Shaffer, Stephen Sondheim and Tom Stoppard.

Aiming at building efficient radiology operations, this book walks the reader through the entire radiology workflow, from the moment that the examination is requested to the reporting of findings. Using their practical experience, the authors draw attention to the many elements that can go wrong at each step, and explain how critical analysis and objective metrics can be used to fix broken processes. Readers will learn how to measure the efficiency of their workflows, where to find relevant data, and how to use it in the most productive ways. The book also addresses how data can be turned into insightful operational information to produce organizational change. All aspects of radiology operations are considered including ordering, scheduling, protocols, checking-in, image acquisition, image interpretation, communication, and billing. The closing section provides a deeper dive into the advanced tools and techniques that are used to analyze operations, including queuing theory, process mining and artificial intelligence.

Designed for an undergraduate course or for independent study, this text presents sophisticated mathematical ideas in an elementary and friendly fashion. The fundamental purpose of this book is to teach mathematical thinking while conveying the beauty and elegance of mathematics. The book contains a large number of exercises of varying difficulty, some of which are designed to help reinforce basic concepts and others of which will challenge virtually all readers. The sole prerequisite for reading this text is high school algebra. Topics covered include: * mathematical induction * modular arithmetic * the Fundamental Theorem of Arithmetic * Fermat's Little Theorem * RSA encryption * the Euclidean algorithm * rational and irrational numbers * complex numbers * cardinality * Euclidean plane geometry * constructibility (including a proof that an angle of 60 degrees cannot be trisected with a straightedge and compass)* infinite series * higher dimensional spaces. This textbook is suitable for a wide variety of courses and for a broad range of students of mathematics and other subjects. Mathematically inclined senior high school students will also be able to read this book. From the reviews of the first edition:“It is carefully written in a precise but readable and engaging style… I thoroughly enjoyed reading this recent addition to the Springer Undergraduate Texts in Mathematics series and commend this clear, well-organised, unfussy text to its target audiences.” (Nick Lord, The Mathematical Gazette, Vol. 100 (547), 2016) “The book is an introduction to real mathematics and is very readable. … The book is indeed a joy to read, and would be an excellent text for an ‘appreciation of mathematics’ course, among other possibilities.” (G. A. Heuer, Mathematical Reviews, February, 2015)“Many a benighted book misguidedly addresses the need [to teach mathematical thinking] by framing reasoning, or narrowly, proof, not as pervasive modality but somehow as itself an autonomous mathematical subject. Fortunately, the present book gets it right.... [presenting] well-chosen, basic, conceptual mathematics, suitably accessible after a K-12 education, in a detailed, self-conscious way that emphasizes methodology alongside content and crucially leads to an ultimate clear payoff. … Summing Up: Recommended. Lower-division undergraduates and two-year technical program students; general readers.” (D. V. Feldman, Choice, Vol. 52 (6), February, 2015)
