They say action speak louder than words. My book, "Armageddon by Casino", and my awareness campaign effort, "Project Furious 2014", are both my actions that speak the truth about the damaging effects of casinos and why we should repeal the 2011 Expanded Gaming Act on the ballet vote on November 4, 2014. This book is me standing out front to make a statement that protects the city I live in. It's as simple as that. I could have chosen to sit on the side and watch the world change in front of me. But instead, I decided to help change my community. This book contains my words of understanding based on cited news reports. It takes a complicated controversial subject and puts sense to the understanding of the damaging effects casinos can have on our communities. Because Western, Massachusetts is the first to issue a gaming license and it is close to Connecticut's casinos, I refer mostly to the impact of Casinos to this region. The information and concepts presented apply to anywhere in the United States.

This book is driven by the Holy Spirit and used as guidance for fathers, mentors, pastors, and siblings. The foundation of the man that I have become could not have been built without my beautiful wife who stands by me through the journeys of life. I give appreciation and dedication to Maria, my wife and "mi cosita linda". She is truly blessed. This book was inspired by the Holy Spirit through Pastor Jose Martinez of the Resurrection Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Two weeks before Father's Day in 2014, he asked if I would be willing to preach and present the Word at the Sunday Service on Father's Day. For an anointed one such as Pastor Jose, I was honored, humbled, and agreed immediately. A week later, this book was written and sent for publication. It was released before Father's Day and given as a gift to Pastor Jose Martinez and his wife Pastor Melly Martinez. To the pastors of the Resurrection Center, I give appreciation for their discernment and observance that I be qualified through an anointing to stand at the pulpit to present God's word to the congregation of the Resurrection Center. This book is dedicated to God who formed me into the man I am today and to the Pastors of the Resurrection Center who show me that it's true. I bless Pastor Jose Martinez and Pastor Melly Martinez. I give the fondest heart-felt appreciation to my father, father-in-law, older brothers, mentors, and my employment bosses over the years who have served as a father to me. So many people have touched my life and planted inside me something God wanted me to have. As servants of God, they were successful and I am so blessed to be the man I am for my wife, friends, and family.

I wrote this book in a few hours with the intention of being a quick starter guide and a general introduction to PowerPoint. This book has been used as a study guide for a class I teach at Forest Academy called "PowerPoint Essentials". It follows my first book on an element of Microsoft Office called "Excel Essentials" You will have enough information that serves as a strong platform to learn more. To use the expression, you will learn in a few short pages enough to be "dangerous". This book is a simple direct to the point presentation of how to use PowerPoint to make impressive looking presentation with animation and narration. You'll get to know all the fancy techniques in a few pages. With what you learn in this book, you will have the ability to intuitively learn other topics on your own that is not covered in this book. You'll have enough understanding to become a PowerPoint expert. David K. Ewen, M. Ed. Forest Academy April 2014

This book is dedicated to all my past, present, and future students in my class lectures at Community Colleges "Publish Your Book Guaranteed". The first day, I started teaching this course was after being in the business at the time for 10 years. As I write this book, I have been teaching this course for 10 years and so have been in the book publishing business for almost 20. On June 11, 2004, the "Professor Lecture Series" was launched with the first class "Publish Your Book Guaranteed". This was long before the popular ebook revolution. A lot has happened since 2004 as publishing tools went from the traditional craft to the tools of web based products on the internet. Even before the "Professor Lecture Series", my company Ewen Prime Company began as a publishing house in July of 1994. From then until the start of the "Professor Lecture Series", I had developed the independent publishers industry in by founding the New England Publishers Association in 1998 and building it with over 300 members. After a spin-off, it operates today as the Independent Publishers of New England. During the time of founding, I started a broadcast radio show on WORC 1310 AM and WGFP 940 AM in central Massachusetts creating a publicity venue for New England authors. I have worked with experts in the industry and developed new writers to become authors and eventually experts in the industry. The writing of this book and course "Getting Your Book on Amazon for Free" occurs during my 20th year in the business. In the year 2014, I will reach my 20th anniversary with a trail of success stories, testimonies, experiences, technology evolution, and working closely with industry experts. I take a portion of that success and present it here for you. I dedicate this book to those I have met in publishing and to those who I will meet in the future. David K. Ewen, M. Ed. Forest Academy
