The plot of the book is about how the rule of law functions to protect corporate structures that facilitate the commission of globalized fraud and abuse. The rules of law are used to dilute and hide accountability of high managerial agents and controlling persons, performing as a tool in aid of centralized and concentrated capital interests, devouring and destabilizing small-to-medium-sized companies. The theories and concepts developed in the book chapters are explored then applied to a real case and controversy—a mega-fraudulent bankruptcy in Argentina. In the zone of the world’s largest grain manufacturing and exporting port complex, the VICENTIN SAIC default illustrates poignantly the premises of the book. Cette tendance est plus marqu e chez les femmes urbaines et plus instruites. L'augmentation de l' ge du premier mariage a jou un r le important dans la transition de la fertilit en cours dans certaines parties de l'Afrique subsaharienne. Cette monographie examine les sch mas d'union des jeunes femmes ( g es de 15 29 ans) dans plus de deux douzaines de pays d'Afrique subsaharienne, dans le but de documenter et d'analyser l' tendue et la nature des changements en cours dans l'acc s l'union dans la r gion. Nous utilisons les donn es des enqu tes d mographiques et de sant (EDS). Questa monografia esamina i modelli di unione delle giovani donne (di et compresa tra i 15 e i 29 anni) in pi di due dozzine di Paesi dell'Africa subsahariana, con l'obiettivo di documentare e analizzare l'entit e la natura dei cambiamenti in corso nell'accesso all'unione che si stanno verificando nella regione. Utilizziamo i dati delle indagini demografiche e sanitarie (DHS). Dopo aver esaminato le tendenze del matrimonio, analizziamo i fattori associati a queste tendenze, in particolare l'istruzione e il benessere economico delle donne. Infine, valutiamo il ruolo del calo osservato nelle percentuali di donne unite in matrimonio nel contribuire alla transizione della fertilit in atto nell'Africa subsahariana.

Das steigende Alter bei der ersten Eheschlie ung hat wiederum eine wichtige Rolle bei der derzeitigen Ver nderung der Fruchtbarkeit in einigen Teilen des subsaharischen Afrikas gespielt. In dieser Monografie werden die Bindungsmuster junger Frauen (im Alter von 15 bis 29 Jahren) in mehr als zwei Dutzend L ndern Afrikas s dlich der Sahara untersucht, um das Ausma und die Art der laufenden Ver nderungen beim Eintritt in die Partnerschaft in der Region zu dokumentieren und zu analysieren. Wir verwenden Daten aus den Erhebungen zur Demografie und Gesundheit (DHS).
