Kirkus Reviews.” Colfer tarjoaa jälleen koukuttavan seikkailun, josta ei hauskuutta puutu.” Irish Times. Irlantilainen Eoin Colfer (s. 1965) on kirjoittanut kahdeksan megahitiksi noussutta fantasiaromaania (WSOY 2001–2012), joiden päähenkilönä on Artemis Fowl, nuori rikollisnero, joka löytää maan sisällä asustavat, teknisesti kehittyneet keijut. Uusi sarja, jonka ensimmäinen kirja Fowlin kaksoset ilmestyi 2020, kertoo jo aikuistuneen Artemiksen vähintään yhtä nokkelien pikkuveljien edesottamuksista.

Kohtalon täyttymys on käsillä. Hetkellä millä hyvänsä. Mikään ei tunnu säikyttävän Artemista, nuorta rikollisneroa. Keijumaailmassa on kuitenkin eräs, joka on jo ennenkin saanut hänet tolaltaan: ilkeä tonttunainen Opal Koboi. Tällä kertaa Artemiksen perivihollinen on onnistunut herättämään kuolleista Fowlin sukutiluksille haudatut muinaiset keijusoturit. Artemis Fowl: Viimeinen vartija on kahdeksas täyspitkä Artemis Fowl -seikkailu. Irlantilainen Eoin Colfer (s. 1965) on kirjoittanut kahdeksan megahitiksi noussutta fantasiaromaania, joiden päähenkilönä on maan sisällä asustavat, teknisesti kehittyneet keijut paljastava nuori rikollisnero Artemis Fowl. Saaga jatkuu Artemiksen pikkuveljistä kertovassa Fowlin kaksoset -sarjassa.

Onko Artemis Fowl parantanut tapansa? Artemis Fowl: Atlantiskompleksi on seitsemäs täyspitkä Artemis Fowl -seikkailu. Irlantilainen Eoin Colfer (s. 1965) on kirjoittanut kahdeksan megahitiksi noussutta fantasiaromaania, joiden päähenkilönä on maan sisällä asustavat, teknisesti kehittyneet keijut paljastava nuori rikollisnero Artemis Fowl. Saaga jatkuu Artemiksen pikkuveljistä kertovassa Fowlin kaksoset -sarjassa.

Artemis Fowl vastaan Artemis FowlArtemis Fowlin äiti Angeline potee tuntematonta sairautta Fowl Manorissa, mutta lääketieteen keinot taudin taltuttamiseen osoittautuvat rajallisiksi. Artemis pyytää apua keijuystäviltään, jotka tunnistavat heille tutun vitsauksen oireet hetkessä. Angeline Fowlin jäljellä olevaa elinaikaa lasketaan jo tunneissa, kun Artemis keksii ratkaisun. Hänen on hankittava lääke sairauteen nuorelta rikolliselta, jonka kohtaaminen vaatii erityista viekkautta - ja aikamatkaa menneisyyteen. Vaarallisen vastustajan nimi on nimittäin... Artemis Fowl! Onnistuuko Artemis tähän asti vaarallisimmassa tehtävässään? Ja mitä ihmettä komisario Holly Short tekee Helsingin ilmatilassa? Kohtaako rikollisnero arvoisensa vastustajan?10 000 vuotta sitten ihmiset ja keijut sotivat verisesti keskenään. Demonit janosivat vapauttaan ajan kahleista ja kostoaan ihmisrodulle. Aikaloitsu, joka sinkosi demonit Limboon, on jo menettämässä tehoaan, mutta edes keijujen taitavimmat tiedemiehet eivät osaa ennustaa demonien seuraavaa ilmaantumista.

Zorro meets The Count of Monte Cristo in this dazzling, action-packed classic from the author of the Artemis Fowl series, now with a snazzy new look for this paperback reissue. Conor Broekhart was born to fly. It is the 1890s, and Conor and his family live on the sovereign Saltee Islands, off the Irish coast. Conor spends his days studying the science of flight with his tutor and exploring the castle with the king's daughter, Princess Isabella. But the boy's idyllic life changes forever the day he discovers a deadly conspiracy against the king. When Conor intervenes, he is branded a traitor and thrown into jail on the prison island of Little Saltee. There, he has to fight for his life, as he and the other prisoners are forced to mine for diamonds in inhumane conditions. There is only one way to escape Little Saltee, and that is to fly. So Conor passes the solitary months by scratching drawings of flying machines into the prison walls. The months turn into years, but eventually the day comes when Conor must find the courage to trust his revolutionary designs and take to the skies.
