Dabei konzentriert sie sich auf die Untersuchung einer Auswahl von Romanen, die real verburgte historische Personlichkeiten in den Mittelpunkt ihrer Erzahlung stellen, um an deren Konturierung zu arbeiten. Die unter diesem Gesichtspunkt ausgewahlten Werke werden zum einen gattungstheoretisch auf die Kategorien der fiktionalen Biographie hin beleuchtet; zum anderen werden neben den behandelten Themen auch die verschiedenen Ebenen der Ubereinstimmung der Erzahlung mit der von der Geschichtsschreibung ermittelten Biographie der historischen Figuren, die in diesen Romanen als Protagonisten figurieren, untersucht. Diese Forschung basiert ihrerseits auf einer Interpretation und Analyse der Romane, die deren jeweilige Eigenart herausarbeitet. English summary: The work was prompted by the renewed interest in history in German-language literature since the 1980s. It focuses on a selection of novels that place real historical figures at the centre of their narration, in order to depict their contours. On the one hand, the selected works are analysed in terms of literary genre theory as biofictions; on the other hand, the various levels of correspondence between the literary narration and the historiography about the historical figures who appear as protagonists in these novels are examined. This research is also based on an interpretation and analysis of the novels, highlighting their individual characteristics.
