With the increasing need for sustainable construction materials, this book investigates the potential of bamboo as a viable alternative to steel in future construction practices. Bamboo's rapid growth, renewability, and mechanical properties make it an appealing option for reducing environmental impacts. This book assesses the feasibility of bamboo's integration into construction by examining its structural characteristics, durability, and overall environmental benefits. The book employs experimental analysis, including tensile strength and durability tests, to evaluate bamboo's structural performance in comparison to steel.
