Odin papa i chetvero detej otpravilis na progulku. Na nastojaschuju, dalnjuju progulku, prakticheski v puteshestvie. Skuchno guljat prosto tak - i malenkim, i vzroslym. A vot esli eto ne obychnaja progulka, a okhota? Okhota na medvedja! Soglasites, delo srazu prinimaet drugoj oborot. Kogda vy otpravljaetes na nastojaschuju okhotu, vas mogut podsteregat zhutkie opasnosti i vam pridetsja preodolevat samye neverojatnye prepjatstvija. To neprolaznaja trava, to trjaskoe boloto, to nastojaschaja metel, a to vdrug, sovershenno sluchajno, vy povstrechaete... nastojaschego medvedja! Takogo, znaete, s vlazhnym nosom, bolshimi mekhovymi ushami i ogromnymi glazami. Chto delat? Bezhat bystree domoj! Teper i doroga ne kazhetsja takoj dlinnoj: cherez metel - begom, cherez lesnuju chaschu - vpripryzhku, cherez reku - bystree-bystree, - fukh, nakonets, doma! V spalne, pod teplym odejalom. V bezopasnosti. Eta zamechatelnaja knizhka - ne prosto knizhka, eto knizhka-igra, knizhka-spektakl. Chitaja ee, skoree dazhe napevaja, mozhno izobrazhat, kak tjazhelo probiratsja skvoz vysokuju travu, i kakie zvuki pri etom poluchajutsja - prislushajtes: "Shurkhkhkh! Shorkhkhkh!" A esche mozhno shlepat cherez rechku, vjaznut v bolote, prolamyvatsja cherez suchja v lesnoj chasche, borotsja s silnym vetrom i ostorozhno, na tsypochkakh uglubljatsja v pescheru. Eta knizhka stanet ljubimoj i u sovsem malenkikh chitatelej, i u mladshikh shkolnikov, kotorye smogut chitat ee samostojatelno. Nu a spektakl "Idem lovit medvedja" mozhno pokazyvat vsem semejstvom!
