Vinsent Van Gog - genialnyj bezumets, pri zhizni ispytavshij i prezrenie kritikov zhivopisi, i polnoe neponimanie sobratev po kisti, a posle smerti priznannyj velikim khudozhnikom. Ego manera pisat kazalas strannoj i nelepoj dazhe privykshim k tvorcheskim eksperimentam obitateljam Monmartra. Ego libo ravnodushno otvergali, libo tsinichno ispolzovali zhenschiny. Nad nim posmeivalis druzja. Ego zhaleli rodnye... Mikelandzhelo Buonarotti. Velichajshij skulptor, khudozhnik i poet epokhi Vozrozhdenija. Sozdatel legendarnogo "Davida" i fresok Sikstinskoj kapelly. On poznal i prizhiznennuju slavu, i bogatstvo, i zavist vragov, i nenavist khanzhej i religioznykh fanatikov. Ego lichnaja zhizn schitalas skandalnoj i nepristojnoj. Ego tvorchestvo poroj shokirovalo i vozmuschalo. Ego blagopoluchie polnostju zaviselo ot kaprizov "knjazej Tserkvi", kotorye byli ego zakazchikami... Pochemu Mikelandzhelo postojanno suschestvoval na grani - mezhdu tvorchestvom i samorazrusheniem? I nakonets, chto davalo emu sily vnov i vnov brosat vyzov sudbe?

Vinsent Van Gog. Odin iz velichajshikh masterov impressionizma. Chelovek tragicheskoj sudby, pri zhizni ispytavshij i prezrenie "ofitsialnykh" kritikov zhivopisi, i polnoe neponimanie sobratev po kisti, a posle smerti priznannyj velikim khudozhnikom. Ego genij stal prokljatiem, ibo ego novatorskaja manera pisat kazalas nepriemlemoj dazhe dlja privykshikh k tvorcheskim eksperimentam obitatelej Monmartra. Ego ne ljubili i libo ravnodushno otvergali, libo tsinichno ispolzovali zhenschiny. Nad nim posmeivalis druzja. Ego zhaleli rodnye... Zhizn Van Goga dolzhna byla okonchitsja tragicheski, eto bylo ochevidno vsem, kto ego znal. Vopros lish v tom, kogda i pri kakikh obstojatelstvakh nastupit eta razvjazka...
