This report describes a health and human services needs assessment of Prince George's County, Maryland. Findings from this report can inform Prince George's County's pursuit of a Health in All Policies approach to policymaking.

Hurricane Maria magnified Puerto Rico's fragile system for delivering social, behavioral, and environmental health services, which were evidenced by chronic disease burdens, demographic transitions, and unmet health needs. The recovery plan outlines action strategies for building a robust health infrastructure, strengthening the health care workforce, expanding social service capacity, and investing in healthy communities.

With evolving demographics and a changing health system landscape, Prince George's County is considering its future policy approaches and resource allocations related to health and well-being. This report describes a health and human services needs assessment of the county. Recommendations are offered related to (1) creating a Health in All Policies system, (2) aligning investments, and (3) implementing new measurement and data systems.
