The Court of Session is the supreme civil court of Scotland, and constitutes part of the College of Justice. It sits in Parliament House in Edinburgh and is both a court of first instance and a court of appeal. The court has a largely coextensive jurisdiction with the Sheriff Court-the other Scottish civil court, which sits locally-with the choice of court being given first to the pursuer; but the majority of complex or high value cases are brought in the Court of Session. Legal aid, administered by the Scottish Legal Aid Board, is available to some persons for cases of the Court of Session This book, "The Court Of Session Garland", by James Maidment, is a replication of a book originally published before 1891. It has been restored by human beings, page by page, so that you may enjoy it in a form as close to the original as possible. This book was created using print-on-demand technology. Thank you for supporting classic literature.
