James Pounder Whitney

In this inaugural address as Dixie Professor of Ecclesiastical History at the University of Cambridge, made in 1919, respected Reformation scholar and medievalist J. P. Whitney gives an overview of the study of ecclesiastical history in the University as well as a history of the Dixie Chair.
