A love song and a lullabye. A rap or a rhapsody. Music has the power to inspire, to calm, or to enrage. It leads us down the aisle, into battle, or to countless other destinations in our minds and hearts. For this anthology, Read650's Edward McCann has composed a selection of musical essays originally performed live for a full house at The Cell Theater in New York City. Read650 shows on wide-ranging topics are produced at venues around the country, and you can learn about submission deadlines and upcoming events on our website or Facebook page Please help spread the word about the spoken word.
