John Stanko

Are You Living or Working in Babylon? The term Babylon has always stood for a belief system that opposes the things and people of God. It is interesting then that God sent Daniel into the very heart of Babylon to represent Him with a message of mercy, repentance, and forgiveness. In a sense, Daniel was the first foreign missionary. In Success in Babylon: How to Thrive in a Hostile Spiritual World, John Stanko points out what made Daniel successful in Babylon with a view toward helping you go beyond someone who survives in your Babylon to someone who is equipped to thrive there. John developed the concept of Success in Babylon when he was involved in prison ministry, which makes this book helpful for anyone who is now incarcerated. Yet with the state of the modern world, you are sure to find the principles and insights in this book helpful no matter where you are or what you do.

In this book, Dr. John Stanko makes a case that this should be the prayer and life philosophy of every believer who knows the Lord. While not as ready as you need to be, you are usually more ready than you think to do more than you are doing, and Dr. Stanko wants to cheer you on from the sidelines with numerous biblical examples of those who said, in so many words, "Put me in, Lord. "If fear has kept you from playing the game and being courageous, Put Me In, Coach: Living a Bold Life is just what you need to understand that God is waiting for you to act, for only then will He empower you to win.
