Cuda has now passed on the leadership to Gremo, his son. Gremo now runs the village with Mayon and are finding it challenging. Life is moving on and a new village has been built next to the current one as they are growing in numbers. Life is however is threatened by a major volcanic eruption and they fear the death of their peoples. They discover the existence of a new village when they rescue a man from the snow who is near to death. They take him back to their village and he is nursed back to health. His name is Benoza and he tells them about where he lives. Later, Gremo goes with him, along with others to meet his people. The sighting of the Sky Gods makes them wonder what is happening. They soon find out when the Sky Gods make contact with them and soon discover that their lives are about to completely change.

This book 4 in the Neanderthal Journeys series. The first three are creating a lot of interest and I hope the same for number 4. This book tells of Cuda's journey to find new peoples and encounters many dangers and mysteries along his way. They encounter a strange cave with unknown drawings on like nothing they have ever seen before and a group of standing stones that defy all explanations. Cuda does eventually discover two more groups of people who are completely different to each other and encounters some very dangerous animals. I wish you happy and thrilling reading. Keith.

Cuda leaves Maglon's village with Gleanor and Gremo, together with his hunters. Three of them have found female mates within Maglon's people. Ten unmated young men and women go back with Cuda to Copad's compound with hopes of finding mates amongst his people. They face danger at every turn and eventually make it back to Copad's compound. After a few days, Cuda takes Gleanor and Gremo, together with his hunters and their families go to visit the other four clans. Their task is to show the other clans the bow that Bannon brought to Copad's people and to show others how to shoot it and make them. However, when they break the news of the village being built, not all like the idea and there is brewing conflict beneath the surface. Cuda does his best to keep it friendly. They eventually get back to Copad's compound and their friends and families are glad to see them back. Cuda's next challenge is to plan the building of the new village, this is what book three is about, it will be called, "New Horizons" watch this space.

This is the second issue of The Would-be Writers' Magazine. It contains members work and extracts from novels short stories etc. We invite people from all around the world to contribute and see their work published in this new venture magazine. We ask that your work is written in the English Language due it being the International Language. This is the fourth book in the "Adventures of Neanderthal Bob" series. As with all previous books in this series, each book has three illustrated stories. The stories featured in this book are, 1: "Neanderthal Bob and the Woolley Mammoth" 2: "Bob Meets Mogar's people" 3: "Bob's Lucky Escape". As always, these books are aimed at children between five and ten years old, but the younger children will enjoy them being read to them by there mother's, father's, teachers and even child minders. This book will be followed by further books in this series. Chris and I have many ideas for further stories and hope to produce them on a regular basis. We hope that all those who read them and have them read to them, with enjoy them and follow the series as they unfold. We are also in the progress of creating other aspects of the Neanderthal Bob stories, for example, colouring books, picture cards to collect, Neanderthal Bob activity books, Small busts of the ranging figures and characters from each story and other ideas are being looked at. These books will be in everyone's home with any luck and people we hope will also collect the Neanderthal Bob products. This un-illustrated book is an alternative to the illustrated version. The advantage with this book is that it has the first six stories in the "Adventures of Neanderthal Bob" series. Whereas, the illustrated version only has three stories, but gives a visual of the stories as they progress. All versions of these stories are great for parents and guardians to read to young children. They are perfect for such people as Child-minders and teachers of your children. These books will continue to be written as I have virtually an endless list of story themes, so please look out for future issues of both versions. I wish all that read them an enjoyable time and hope they teach and inspire people to learn more about the ancient Neanderthal peoples.
