The book on drug delivery system aims to serve as a complete textbook for the students of M. Pharm I semester keeping in mind specific requirements of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Education Regulation - 2020. This textbook is covering the entire syllabus of pharmaceutics I semester as per new PCI norms recognized as MPH102T. It contains seven units. It gives a comprehensive Study and regulation of rate-controlled administration of therapeutic agents. It sustains the Equilibrium between the basic essentials and Advanced area of knowledge, it serves as a backbone of pharmaceutics. Exposure to the students with respect to drug delivery systems becomes important in University imparting higher education. This Textbook describes the theories, applications, and challenges for different controlled release/Sustained formulations. This book differs from most in its focus on controlled release formulation design and process development. It also covers the drug delivery areas like rate controlling drug delivery systems, Gastro-retentive drug delivery systems, Occular drug delivery systems, Transdermal drug delivery systems, Protein and peptide delivery, and vaccine deliver.

The main objective of the book is to explain the fundamentals of Remedial Biology in the simplest possible language, in an easy to understand way for the students. The textbook keeps a balance between the basic essentials and advanced areas of knowledge, apart from discussing the usual topics. Effort has been made mainly to focus on the primary aspects for students of pharmacy completing their course as per latest PCI Course Regulation 2020 (subject codes BP-112 P). The book covers a wide range of areas in brief and contains a comprehensive description. The basic text in simple language not only deals with the basic concepts but also emphasizes technical and practical aspects.

This is a Practical Pharmacognosy book specially designed for the B. Pharma students as per the syllabus of PCI. This book is designed to meet the needs of the pharmacy students studying in pharmacy colleges. The book is designed in very easy and comprehensive way so that students easily understand the concept behind the experiments. Course content has been divided in to experiment wise according to curriculum framed by pharmacy council of India. This practical handbook is designed to have students experience how scientists do science so that they can use scientific knowledge to understand real-world science related issues that will confront them in their personal, professional and civic lives. To do this, students must understand how scientists acquire, evaluate and use scientific knowledge, and the implications and limitations of this knowledge. It is hoped that book is useful not only for the pharmacy students but also for the other life science graduates students.
