I never thought it would take me this long to get it right. I never thought I'd be living the life as an unmarried woman. I guess God knew I'd make all these crazy mistakes in this life. I never thought I'd be without the man woman kind of love for so long, at this age still praying that it would find me. I guess as much I wanted to, I just never gave up on love, but loving the wrong people has always been my problem I even, unintentionally, put men before God never understanding for a long time that God needed me to put him first. So, I talk about putting God first often I mention it in this book as well as I do in life. In this book my poetry touches base on the love for God and some of the mistakes made on this journey to show that none of us are perfect and God loves us anyway. I want to tell you to never give up on God because he will not give up on you. Never allow someone to pull you away from God, see what God has for you is for you. Every day that you wake thank you God give your problems to him, let go and let God

It's hard finding love, or waiting on it to find you. It's even harder sometimes knowing that you got it right. I will tell you this even we wait on God it won't be hard or complicated. Love isn't hurt, pain, abuse, neglect, confusion or lust. If you start feeling any of these emotions something is wrong. I would say go to God self-evaluate first then look at the person who is causing the hurt, try having a conversation to fix what is broken, try counseling. If that doesn't work, then it's time to move on. In this book I speak about the love and the hurt by way of poetry in a way that is relatable to many people. I do not male bash it's not my thing, I do however speak some truth not just from my heart but for the hearts of others. I used some of my own experiences past, present and future to write this book, a lot of it was inspired by the love to another, the love I've seen and the love I prayed for. You never know where God will lead you and who he will lead to you, just be ready when it happens so you don't lose it. Kottyn

Over the years, I've done my best to contain my anger, my hurt and to keep my emotions under control. Now it's time I release those emotions and free my soul. I remove drama filled people. I've been ignored stepped on looked over, unless somebody needs something I'm irrelevant, makes no sense the constant disrespect the neglect but yet I'm forgiving. THIS IS MY RANT
