Aimed specifically at students who are preparing for the IGCSE as a Second English Language examination, this text works systematically through all aspects of written and spoken English. The work explains common difficulties in English grammar, provides guidance on English usage, and includes exam tips to focus students' attention on points to remember. Exercises are provided based on printed and recorded texts similar to those of the IGCSE examination. Practice tests from past examination papers feature throughout the book. Two other components of this course are also available - a teacher's book (0-333-66230-X) and a cassette (0-333-66231-8).
