Getting out of the shower, blow drying my hair, and getting dressed, today's upcoming high school graduation is on my mind. Today at 5:00 PM, Landon and I will be graduating from Marley, our school home since kindergarten. Even though I am excited about graduating and moving on to the future, I am also a little sad and emotional. Like I said, Marley has been Landon's and my school home since kindergarten.
"Nick Christensen," Patrick began. "This is my good friend, Felicity Dunn.""It's nice to meet you, Felicity." I smiled, gently shaking Felicity's hand." It's nice to meet you, too." Felicity smiled back. "I am a big fan.""I appreciate that." I replied, continuing to smile. "Are you looking forward to a fun camp session? I know I am ""Definitely " Felicity replied. "What about you?""Same "I replied. "Would you like to sit with us and chat a little bit?""I would be honored." Felicity smiled, taking a seat by me.
Dear Journal, As I lay in my bunk bed, I think about all of the fun that this past month has brought. Not only have I had the honor of touring with my boyfriend, as well as his amazing parents, Olivia and Oscar, but I have been able to visit amazing cities, such as Los Angeles and New York City. Truth be told, I have had the time of my life with some of the people that I care about the most. Moving on, today is a special day. Today is my eighteenth birthday. To celebrate my birthday, we are going to spend the day at Universal
As Ophelia and her mother enjoyed their lunch in the Flatirons Mall food court, she could not help but think about the exciting trip that was in the horizon. Two weeks ago, Olly had invited Ophelia to go on tour with him and his parents this summer. Instantly, Ophelia and her parents had agreed Not only would this be a great and fun trip, but Ophelia would get some quality time with her best friend and secret love interest. She would also get to hang out with Olly's wonderful parents (AKA Olly's managers), too. What made this trip even more exciting was that the four of them would be leaving tomorrow around 10:00 AM. With this said, you can only imagine how excited everyone, including Ophelia, was. After Ophelia and her mother finished their lunches, they threw away their food, and headed out of the food court. After all, they had a little more last minute shopping and primping for Ophelia before she left the next day.
As Landon ordered our breakfast, I thought about what today would hold. At 7:45, our stylists and makeup artists would be helping us get ready to shoot our music video. The filming location? The Galleria. So we could film our music video without any interruptions, the Galleria people had agreed to open at noon, instead of at its usual time. For backup dancers and extras, Landon and I had asked some of our good friends from church and school to help us out with that. Thankfully, they were more than happy to help out. As Landon and I thanked the drive thru person, and made our way out of the Starbucks drive thru with our food, I could not help but feel excited After all, a big day was ahead for Landon and me.
Dear Journal, Prom night has finally arrived, and I am excited and ready to go Not only do I have my hair freshly trimmed, as well as my nails and toes cleaned up, clipped and polished, but I also have the perfect dress. It is a shimmery gold strapless, sweetheart necklined, a-lined, knee length dress. The only thing that I don't have is the date. While my best friends asked some senior guys from our youth group at our church, I didn't ask anyone. After all, no one really caught my interest. The only person who catches my interest is the love of my life who resides in Dallas. Even though I wish Jesse were here tonight to take me to the junior/senior prom, I have decided that I am going to have a good time, no matter what. -Jerica
As Serena and I continued to make our way to our cabin, we heard a voice calling our names." Felicity Serena " The familiar, wonderful, and sweet voice called excitedly. Turning around, Serena and I came face to face with two of our longtime good camp friends, Rydel and Annie. Moments later, all of us were dropping our things, smiling, squealing, and running up to each other, and engulfing each other in big hugs.
Getting out of the shower, drying off, brushing my hair, and getting dressed, I cannot help but feel excited In just thirty minutes, my parents and I will be boarding the tour bus, and going to pick up my best friends for the summer tour All of us have been anxiously awaiting this day for the past two weeks, and now it is finally here Goodbye, Dallas, and hello, summer tour
Due to the fact that today was my best friends, boyfriend's, and my high school graduation, all of the parents had left it up to us to decide where we wanted to have our graduation dinner. In the end, the four of us had decided on P. F. Chang's. After all, it was one of our favorite nice restaurants of all time As all of us enjoyed our food and participated in good conversation, I could not help but have a great time After all, I was enjoying dinner with the people who meant the most to me
After our plane had landed at LAX, and we had gotten our large rental car, we had decided to not go to the beach house just yet. Instead, we had decided to go grab some Chick Fil-A. Not only was it dinner time, but we were also very hungry. As Mom, Dad, Lisa, Luke, Leona, and I enjoyed dinner, I thought about our cool and awesome spring break tradition. Ever since Leona and I were young, our parents and ourselves would fly from Houston to Los Angeles, and drive from the airport to Anderson Cove, California to spend a few days there at my family's and my beach house. Not only does Anderson Cove have beautiful, white sanded, blue clear water beaches, it is also a beautiful town itself.
Dear Journal, Not only is today the Tuesday of Spring Break, but it also happens to be my eighteenth birthday I have anticipated this day since late February, and it is finally here At the beginning of last month, Mom and Dad asked me if I wanted a party to celebrate my birthday. I had told them that I wanted a sleepover party with my best friends. After all, I did not want anything big. Moving on to tonight, let me tell you a little bit of what is going to go down tonight. After the girls arrive, we are going to dress up and go out to dinner. Afterwards, we are going to come back to my family's mansion, go swimming, enjoy my birthday cookie cake, and hang out. Truth be told, tonight is going to be awesome -Jerica
These past two days have been quite amazing Yesterday, my team mates and I took home first place at State yesterday Due to the fact that we had worked to the bone to get to State, it made the win even more sweet Moving on to today, I could not be more excited Tonight is Marley's prom, and I could not be more excited Not only do I have the dress, and mani/pedi, and I also have the best date ever That's right, journal Landon is taking me to the prom tonight With all of the great things that have happened, and the fun that is going to go down tonight, it is safe to say that I am truly on fire
Getting dressed and changed into my bikini, I cannot help but feel excited Today, Reese and I are spending alone time together on the beautiful, white sanded, clear blue watered beach that is located outside of the beach house. Even though he and I have been spending a lot of alone time together (Which I have greatly enjoyed, by the way) since our families arrived at the beach house, I am especially excited about today's hangout with Reese.
Sitting up in my room, I bawl my eyes out. Even though the break up with my longtime ex-boyfriend is fresh and raw. Even though I know that the pain will go way, it doesn't feel like it right now. Even though my amazing and wonderful parents and best friends have been and are there for me, there is nothing that anyone can say or do to make the pain go away right now.
Ever since I began my career as a singer, it has been a tradition that my parents treat me to a "send off" dinner the night before I leave for my summer tours. This year, however, this dinner is going to be a little different. Due to the fact that my best friends will be leaving with me for tour tomorrow morning, their parents and themselves will be joining my parents and me for dinner tonight. I am truly excited about this
As Dinah sat in second period U. S. History, she thought about what Dylan had said. Maybe she had been right. Dinah would never know what Doug would have said if she didn't ask him. A feeling of strength and bravery filling her heart, Dinah decided right then and there that she was going to ask Doug to be here date to the Sadie Hawkins dance.
"How is it that we are now SENIORS "I asked, as Dylan, Dinah, and I made our way to the school for the end-of-school dance." I know, right " Dinah smiled. "Summer is here, and senior year is right around the corner ""Yeah, cool." Dylan said from the backseat in a distracted tone." Girlie, what's wrong?" Dinah asked, turning in her seat to face Dylan." Jenny Box has been harassing me lately with mean texts. It's gone on for two weeks now.""Have you told anyone, besides us, about this?" I asked. "It's important to let someone know.""The only people I have told are my parents and Principal Schuman." Dylan said, her voice cracking. "Not only have my parents talked to Mrs. Schuman, but Mrs. Schuman has also tried suspending Jenny a couple of times. My parents have even tried talking to Mr. and Mrs. Box, but Jenny's parents keep shrugging it off.""Do you still have the texts?" Dinah asked, gently. "If so, may I see them?" Without saying a word, Dylan handed the phone to Dinah. Immediately, Dinah gasped and put her hand over her mouth. It was at that moment that I knew that these texts must be really bad. When we stopped at a stoplight. Dinah quickly handed the phone to me. Reading these texts, anger filled my heart. These texts were saying some mean, hurtful and untrue things. It made me mad as a wet hen that someone was attacking my best friend through text messages." This has to stop, like right now." Dinah said, thoughtfully." I agree with you 100%." I replied, sincerely." Same here." Dylan said. "What do you propose that should be done about it?""Don't worry, I have an idea." Dinah smiled at Dylan and me.
Dear Journal, Once again the time has come for my parents and me to fly to Florida to spend the summer with the Hanks at their beach house. For every summer for as long as long as I can remember, my parents and I have spent the summer with their lifelong best friends, Romy and Rick Hanks, as well as their son, Reese. Even though I have known Reese all of my life, we are not best friends. To be totally honest, we aren't friends and don't really get along. It's not that we hate or don't respect each other, it's just that we are too different. On a different note, it will be nice being away from Los Angeles for awhile. After all, I need a break from the spotlight, and time to process the breakup with my longtime boyfriend.-Farrah
For Christmas this year, my best friend, boyfriend, the rest of the students from our grade, and I are going to partake in a Christmas sleepover at my family's and my mansion. Not only are we going to exchange gifts, eat great food, go swimming in the indoor pool, we are also going to enjoy each other's company. With this said, I predict that a great time is going to be had by all
