Dear Journal, Today is Valentine's Day, and so far, it has been a good one. Not only did I receive a present from Mom and Dad, but my best friends and I enjoyed a Valentine's Day lunch. Like I said, it's been a good day so far. On a different note, I will be celebrating Valentine's Day alone. While my parents will be going out to dinner, and my best friends going on a date with their boyfriends, I am going to be alone. Don't get me wrong, I am fine with lounging in my pajama pants and gray tank top, as well as enjoying dinner, eating chocolate, and watching a movie at home. I just wish that my amazing boyfriend were here to celebrate with me.-Caralee

After lunch was over and the presents had been opened and put away in their proper place, Chad and I had gone up to the sun room to hang out. While our parents are sleeping, Chad and I are making plans on making a video. It was a fun and good idea that Chad had come up with. Instantly, I had agreed to it. After all, it sounded like a great idea, and I had never made a video where I was dancing with someone before. Even though this was true, I could not help smile. After all, I would be dancing with the person who would and always be my number one dance partner.

"CHAD, this is amazing " I exclaimed, taking a bite of my eggs benedict. "Where did you learn to cook like this?" "I took some cooking classes while on break from filming." Chad explained, giving me a smile. After a big night last night, everyone had decided to sleep in this morning. Well, everyone except for Chad. He had gotten up and had decided to surprise us and cook a wonderful breakfast, including eggs benedict, fruit, and blueberry muffins. Apparently, he had wanted to surprise all of us with a big Christmas breakfast. Speaking of Christmas, my favorite holiday ever has finally arrived Not only does it mean eating good food and opening gifts, it also means being with family and friends who are family, and most importantly, celebrating the birth of Jesus. After all, He is the reason for the season.

Before my best friends, classmates, and I go to the homecoming dance, my pre-homecoming party is going to take place. A few weeks ago, I asked my parents if I could host a pre-homecoming party for my best friends and the rest of the guys in our senior class. Thankfully, they had said yes. During the party, good food will be eaten, pictures will be taken, and a good time will be had by all. This, I am definitely sure of.

Dear Journal, After two months of hard work and rehearsal, tonight is the opening night of Dreier's production of Wicked. Productions of the show will take place tonight and tomorrow night at 6 pm. Due to the fact that I am a lead role in the play, I am extremely excited and nervous at the same time. However, due to the fact of endless rehearsals and practicing lines, I know that it is going to go well tonight. It also helps that my two best friends, whom also happen to be leads, will be up there with me. -Dinah

As the limo escorted the members of Porter's class of 2019 to Beverly's family's mansion, Beverly could not help but be excited Not only had her parents let her have a pre-party, but they were letting her have an after party co-ed sleepover (Beverly's best friends and good friends had dropped off their stuff when they had arrived for the pre-party) Even though everyone was a little tired from dancing the night away, they were also excited and pumped for the sleepover After all, it was going to be epic

As the white limo escorts all of us to Hotel Icon to participate in Porter's homecoming, I cannot help but feel happy and excited. Tonight, my best friends, classmates, as well as the rest of the high school students, will be coming together for an awesome homecoming dance. Last night was the homecoming football game (My teammates and I won, by the way), and tonight is the homecoming dance. Just like I said, I am excited and happy

Of course, I had said yes After all I am secretly, utterly, and completely in love with the guy On a different note, Bentley had said that he had something to ask me during our lunch. Today is my first ever photo shoot with Rhett Modeling Agency. It is a modeling agency for people ages 15-65 who have or have had cancer. My boyfriend's parents own it. As Mom and I pulled into the RMA parking lot, I took a deep breath. After all my first photo shoot was waiting for me.

Dear Journal, For as long as I can remember, I have always loved to sing. I would sing in front of my friends, family, in the shower, etc. However, I have never sung in front of anyone else but them. It would make me too nervous. Well today, that is all about to change. At our Christmas show today, which takes place on the last day before Christmas break, I am going to conquer my fear and sing in the talent show. As my alarm goes off, I immediately turn it off. Sitting up in my bed, excitement runs through my body like adrenaline Today is Thanksgiving Day, and I cannot be more pumped Today my family and Bentley's family will be coming together for Thanksgiving. Usually, Bea and her family join all of us for Thanks-giving, but she and her family are out of town visiting relatives. Even though all three families come together each year to celebrate Thanks-giving, as well as the fact that Bea and her family will be missed this year for Thanksgiving, there is a part of me that is glad that it is just Bentley's family and my family celebrating this year. After all, that means more alone time with him. Getting up from my bed, I head downstairs to start cooking the meal. After all, I want to surprise my family

"So, what parts are you guys going to try out for today?" Doug asked, as he and his best friends, Dylan and Dinah made their way to seventh period Drama." Galinda, for sure " Dylan smiled. "I've always wanted to play her.""I feel the same way about playing Elphaba." Dinah smiled, as well. "It would be so amazing to play her.""I am trying out for Fiyero." Doug piped. As the three best friends made their way to Drama, all they could talk about were today's auditions for Wicked. They would be taking place during Miss Stevenson's class. However, auditions had already taken place in her previous classes, too. With this, the stakes were high as to whom would be chosen to play the role of Galinda, Elphaba, and Fiyero. "Do you guys think that I have a chance to be picked to play Elphaba?" Dinah asked." I think that you have a great chance" Doug smiled. "You have a killer voice.""That you do " Dylan smiled, as well. As I put the cookies into the oven, I could not help but think of today's past and future events. After Mom, Dad, and I had enjoyed a good breakfast, it had been time to open gifts. For Christmas this year, I had gotten Mom a nice purse, and Dad some books that he had had his eye on for the longest time. For Christmas, my parents had given me gift cards, clothes, and a beautiful red sewing machine. About an hour later, we enjoyed a good lunch. After all of us had cleaned up the table, it was time for me to start making my famous Christmas cookies for Bentley's Christmas party. Moving on to future events of today, let me tell you a little about what is going to go down tonight. At around six o'clock, Bentley, Bea, a bunch of our good friends, and I will be gathering together at Bentley's for his sixth annual Christmas party. Not only will the party consist of a good dinner and fun games, but it will also consist of dancing Truth be told, I am quite excited about tonight

"I wonder how she is doing today." Andrea asked, as she, her boyfriend, Andrew, and her best friend, Adam pulled into Pulman Cancer Hospital's parking garage." I don't know, but we will find out very soon, though." Andrew said, turning off the engine of his car. As the teens got out of the car and made their way into the hospital to see Addison, they could not help but have strong empathy for their lifelong best friend. When Addison was sixteen years old, she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Ever since she had been diagnosed, she had been a patient at Pulman Cancer Hospital. While there, Addison had also had twelve surgeries, and a double mastectomy. Even with all of this going on, Addison had remained strong and a fighter. Even though Addison had had her share of bad days, it did not change the fact that she was strong and a fighter.

Dear Journal, Tonight is my best friends and my concert in Chicago, Illinois. I am truly excited about tonight's concert After all, Chicago is one of my favorite places that we have performed in. Even though I am excited about performing in Chicago, there is another reason that I am truly excited about tonight At one point in the show, I am going to surprise Rochelle, dedicate a special song to her that I wrote just for her. This song says how I feel about her. My parents and best friends are in on it, and could not be happier that I am finally telling Rochelle how I feel about her. Ever since Mags and I were freshmen at Madison Christian High School, we have participated on both the dance and gymnastics teams. Three years later, we are the co-captains of both teams. Moving on, today is a big day for our gymnastics team. We have our State competition today. If our team wins today, we will be going to Nationals in late April. With this said, I really want to win today

Seventeen year old Rhiannon Hennessey had always loved to cook. Whether it be cooking small like scrambled eggs, to something big, like Chicken Cordon Bleu, Rhiannon had always loved cooking whatever she could get her hands on. Speaking of cooking, Rhiannon had volunteer-ed to cook Thanks-giving lunch for her family and the Richard-son's. Even though Shea and Rhiannon's families had celebrated Thanks-giving together for as long as all of them could remember, this was the first year that Rhiannon was cooking for everyone. With this said, she wanted to do it justice, and make this dinner delicious, and one that would be remember-ed from years to come. Making her way downstairs from her bedroom, and to the kitchen, Rhiannon prepared to cook today's meal.

"I'm so sorry about all of those pictures " I apologized, as the limo escorted Shea and me to Hyatt Regency. "I had no idea that Mom and Dad were going to take so many ""It's okay, Rhi, I promise." Shea smiled. "They are just really excited for you, that's all.""Not as excited as I am " I smiled back at Shea. "I cannot believe that I am going to my first home-coming ""I am excited for you, too " Shea replied. "Thank you for agreeing to go with me to my homecoming.""Thank you for inviting me." I said. "I could not imagine going to homecoming with anyone else but you."
