Dear Journal, Yesterday, my band and I were approached at the theater by sixteen fans. We were asked by all of the fans for autographs and pictures. It was truly awesome to be recognized. Tonight, Orlando's Originals will be recognized again. At 7:00, Lindsey Records will be hosting a record release party for us. Besides enjoying great food and dancing, my best friends, boyfriend, and myself will be performing "Hello From Us To You." It is truly going to be a great evening -Raega

"How do you feel about what Ella and Ethan brought up?" Mom asked, after I finished telling her everything." Excited yet conflicted." Clearing my throat, I continued, "I mean, I love the idea of graduating high school early and only having my music to focus on. However, I am also thinking about the cons.""In your mind, what are the cons in this situation?""Missing out on Prom and graduation, school activities, being away from my family and friends for such a long time, and disappointing you and Dad.""The only way you could disappoint us, baby, is not following your heart and doing what you think is best." Mom said, thoughtfully. "We could never be disappointed at you for following your heart.""That's the thing, Mom." I sighed. "I don't know what my heart is telling me to do."

Speaking of school, my best friends and I start high school next Wednesday We will be attending Frasier High School, a high school for students with learning differences. One hundred and sixty students total attend the high school. Besides being in concert choir, my best friends and I will be doing other extracurricular activities. While Emma and I will be on the JV cheerleading squad, Scott and Ezra will be playing soccer. Thankfully, the PE hour, which is fourth period, will be used for those practices. On a different note, I am excited about the schedule for my school. On Mondays and Wednesdays, you go to periods 1-4. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, you go to periods 5-8. The best part? The school days last from 8-11:50 am, and you only have to go to school from Monday-Thursday How cool is that? Pretty cool, I would say I am so excited about starting school next Wednesday, that I can hardly wait -Raegan

Moving to Michigan was hard, because that meant that I had to leave my best friends, Emma, Ezra, and Scott behind. Leaving my many other good friends from church and school behind was not fun, either. Thankfully, the move to Michigan did not stop me from seeing my friends back home. During Christmas break and summer vacation, I would come and visit. Since the twins (Emma and Ezra) and their parents had made it very clear from the beginning that I always had a second home with them, and could come and stay with them whenever I visited, I would always end up staying with them. Besides getting to spend quality time with Scott and the twins, I also got to spend time with my many other friends from Orlando, as well Even though I made lots of friends in Michigan, I am truly happy and excited about moving back to my hometown. At this very moment, in fact, my plane is touching down at the Orlando International Airport. It feels so good to be home

"By the way, Katie, the rest of the group, and myself are done with you and Landon.""What?" Molly asked." You heard me." Kristin said, angrily. "We don't want to best friends with someone who would backstab one of their own best friends in the worst way possible.""After all, how do we know that you wouldn't do what you did to Isla and Ian to one of us?" Katie wanted to know." Because I wouldn't " Molly exclaimed. "Guys, please, you have to trust me.""Trust you?" Katie asked, wondering if she had heard that right. "How could you ask us that after what you did to Isla and Ian?" Without saying another word, Kristin and Katie left. After all, there was nothing left to be said.

"I think I am going to be sick." Kristin said, tears filling her eyes. "Am I really seeing this right now?""Yes." Katie said, anger filling her heart. As the girls looked down at the text message, they could not believe what they saw. Ian had sent both Kristin and Katie a text with a picture of Molly and Landon kissing. The caption read: "Katie and Kristin-Words cannot describe how angry and upset I am about this. How could these two do this to me, especially Isla? On a different note, I need to ask you two a favor. PLEASE DO NOT show this to Isla or tell her about it just yet. Due to the fact that she has the competition today (I wish I could be there to cheer her on) I don't want her to be aware of this quite yet. I want her to focus on the competition. I am just trying to look out for her. Thank you, Ian

As the Concert Choir practiced the songs that they were going to sing for the spring concert, Isla could not help but smile. For the concert, the class had gotten to choose what songs they would be singing. While the boys would be performing One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful", The girls would be singing Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe". For the group numbers, the concert choir would be singing Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'', and Teen Beach 2's "Gotta Be Me". As luck would have it, both Landon and Isla had solos in this song. Moving onto solos, this solo was not the only one that Isla would be singing. To start off the program, Isla would be singing Jordan Smith's "Stand in the Light". It was one of her favorite songs of all time, and she knew it by heart. On a different note, Isla would be singing Hunter Hayes' "I Want Crazy". Out of all the songs that would be sung tonight, Isla was truly looking forward to singing this song. After all, she would be singing it with Landon.

As thirteen year old Isla Danney jumped out of bed, she could not help but smile. Today was her first day at McCarthy Academy, and she was pumped Isla was so excited that she had gotten up before her 6:15 AM alarm. One of the reasons that Isla was so excited about starting school was that she already knew some people from school. Three of her new friends from church, Katie, Kristin, and Molly, would be attending McCarthy Academy with her. This definitely helped put Isla's nerves at ease. Pulling on her light blue polo with the LMA logo on it, as well as her khaki skirt, Isla began the process of getting dressed. After all, she was ready for the day to begin.

"Juliet, have you ever heard of a woman by the name of Lydia Clarke?" "I sure have, Ma'am." I replied. "She is the owner of Clarke studios, as well as one of the best and most success-ful movie directors of all time.""I see you have done your research on her.""No, Ma'am, I'm just a very big fan." I can see that." Professor Richards smiled. " Miss Larsen, did you know that she also was a graduate of Anderson-Pulman University?""No, Ma'am.""She was." Giving me a huge smile, Professor Richards continued, "Miss Larsen, Lydia is a a great friend of mine, and has come to me with a favor.""What is it, Ma'am?" After pausing for a few seconds, Professor Richards said, "She would like me to talk to you about starring in her next movie."

Dear Journal, Tomorrow is the Orlando Level 1 Art Show. This art show is for middle schoolers only. Thirty of them are hand picked from all over Orlando to represent their school at this prestigious art show. Much to my excitement, I was one of the thirty middle schoolers who were picked The painting that I will be showing is the one that I painted on my first day of school. It is called "Point of View Sunset". This painting happens to be my most favorite painting that I have ever done. I am truly excited and honored to have been chosen to Represent McArthur Academy in the art show tomorrow God Bless, Isl
