Spanky the dog goes for a walk to enjoy a beautiful day. Ms. Lynn went looking for Spanky the dog and came across many of his friends and asked if they saw him. There was Charlie the dog, a turkey, a chicken and Mr. Squirrel, even a gopher. She finally find him with Pokey the cat then he started to do some silly things so she picked up her guitar and began to sing "Spanky going woof woof" "Lynn Lewis" the author hopes this book will help children learn how to read by singing along the words to her song "Spanky going woof woof".
