M. J. Rodriguez

This volume presents fresh considerations of some of the more debated aspects of the Enterprise of England and the voyage of the Spanish Armada. The contributions range over a number of important subjects: the outbreak of war between England and Spain; its economic, religious and dynastic context; the strategy of the Enterprise of England; the formation of the invasion fleet and army; Spanish shipbuilding and navigation; and the medical services of the Armada. The contributors are all leading U. K. and Spanish experts in the field.
