Supportive treatment of patients with haemopathies relies essentially on transfusion of packed red blood cells and platelets. This transfusion therapy must not escape the PSL prescribing procedures, which remind us that all recommendations must be discussed at each prescribing site with prescribing physicians and haematobiologists. The aim of our retrospective study is to define the epidemioclinical profile of patients in palliative care, to specify the indications and course of transfusion and to estimate the consumption of PSL in 24 patients followed for haemopathies in the palliative treatment stage during the period from June 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018. Our series included 24 patients, 17 of whom were male and 7 female, with a sex ratio of 2.4. The median age was 63.5 years with extremes ranging from 5 to 91 years. At the time of indication for palliative care, 34% of our patients were being followed upfor MDS and 29% for AML. However, multiple myeloma, bone marrow aplasia and ALL were noted in 8.3% of cases.

Il trattamento di supporto per i pazienti con emopatie si basa essenzialmente sulla trasfusione di globuli rossi e piastrine confezionati. Questa terapia trasfusionale non deve sfuggire alle procedure di prescrizione dei PSL, che ci ricordano che tutte le raccomandazioni devono essere discusse in ogni sede di prescrizione con i medici prescrittori e gli ematobiologi. Lo scopo del nostro studio retrospettivo quello di definire il profilo epidemioclinico dei pazienti in cure palliative, di specificare le indicazioni e la procedura trasfusionale e di stimare il consumo di PSL di 24 pazienti monitorati per emopatie in fase di cure palliative nel periodo compreso tra il 1 giugno 2018 e il 31 dicembre 2018. Nella nostra serie sono stati inclusi 24 pazienti, di cui 17 maschi e 7 femmine, con un rapporto di 2,4 sessi. L'et mediana era di 63,5 anni, con estremi che andavano da 5 a 91 anni. Al momento dell'indicazione per le cure palliative, il 34% dei nostri pazienti era in follow-up per MDS e il 29% per AMDS. per MDS e il 29% per AML. Tuttavia, il mieloma multiplo aplasia midollare e ALL sono stati riscontrati nell'8,3% dei casi.

Die unterst tzende Behandlung von Patienten mit h matologischen Erkrankungen beruht im Wesentlichen auf der Transfusion von Erythrozyten und Thrombozyten. Diese Transfusionstherapie darf nicht aus dem Blickfeld der Verschreibungsmodalit ten f r HSP geraten, die darauf hinweisen, dass alle Empfehlungen an jedem Verschreibungsort mit den verschreibenden rzten und H matobiologen besprochen werden m ssen. Unsere Studie ist eine retrospektive Studie, deren Ziel es ist, das epidemioklinische Profil von Palliativpatienten zu definieren, die Indikationen und den Ablauf der Transfusion zu pr zisieren und den Verbrauch von PSL bei 24 Patienten zu sch tzen, die wegen H mopathien im Stadium der Palliativbehandlung betreut wurden, und zwar im Zeitraum vom 1. Juni 2018 bis zum 31. Dezember 2018. Unsere Serie umfasste 24 Patienten, davon 17 m nnliche und 7 weibliche mit einem Geschlechterverh ltnis von 2,4. Das mediane Alter betrug 63,5 Jahre mit Extremen zwischen 5 und 91 Jahren. Zum Zeitpunkt der Indikation f r die Palliativmedizin waren 34% unserer Patienten in Behandlung.wegen eines MDS und 29% wegen einer AML betreut. Das multiple Myelom, Knochenmarkaplasie und ALL wurden bei 8,3 % der Patienten festgestellt.
