Freemasonry is a fraternity within a fraternity- an outer organization concealing an inner brotherhood of the elect. Before it is possible to intelligently discuss the origin of the Craft, it is necessary, therefore, to establish the existence of these two separate yet interdependent orders, the one visible and the other invisible.

""Facing The Future: A New Theory Of Political Representation"" by Manly P. Hall is a book that offers a fresh perspective on the concept of political representation. The author argues that the traditional model of representation, which involves electing officials to act on behalf of the people, is outdated and inadequate. Instead, he proposes a new theory of representation that involves a more direct and participatory form of democracy. Hall suggests that true representation can only be achieved when citizens are actively involved in the decision-making process. He advocates for a system in which individuals have a say in the policies that affect them and are able to hold their representatives accountable for their actions. The author also emphasizes the importance of education and civic engagement in creating a more democratic society. Throughout the book, Hall draws on historical examples and philosophical concepts to support his arguments. He explores the origins of political representation and the challenges that have arisen as societies have become more complex. He also discusses the role of technology in shaping the future of democracy and the potential for new forms of representation to emerge. Overall, ""Facing The Future"" offers a thought-provoking analysis of the flaws in the traditional model of political representation and presents a compelling vision for a more democratic and participatory society.
