O AVC um evento que amea a a vida e a integridade f sica e/ou psicol gica do sujeito a ele exposto. Existem muitas manifesta es psiqui tricas secund rias ao AVC. Dentre essas manifesta es, o transtorno de estresse p s-traum tico (TEPT) uma das manifesta es neuropsiqui tricas mais comuns. Os objetivos deste trabalho foram estimar a preval ncia de TEPT p s-AVC em idosos e pesquisar os fatores que a ela se correlacionam. Nosso estudo foi transversal, descritivo e anal tico. A m dia de idade da nossa amostra foi de 75,2 anos com desvio padr o de 7,9 e extremos de 65 e 95 anos, com raz o sexual (M/F) de 0,89. A preval ncia de depress o p s-AVC foi de 41,8%, a preval ncia de TEPT foi de 27,3%. Os mecanismos da depress o p s-AVC e do TEPT s o ricos e fazem do estudo do impacto psiqui trico do AVC um ponto de encontro privilegiado para as ci ncias da mente.

Ein Schlaganfall ist ein Ereignis, das das Leben und die physische und/oder psychische Unversehrtheit der ihm ausgesetzten Person bedroht. Es gibt viele psychiatrische Manifestationen nach Schlaganf llen. Unter diesen Manifestationen ist die posttraumatische Belastungsst rung (PTSD) eine der h ufigsten neuropsychiatrischen Manifestationen. Ziel dieser Arbeit war es, die Pr valenz von PTBS nach Schlaganfall bei lteren Personen abzusch tzen und die damit korrelierten Faktoren zu erforschen. Unsere Studie war querschnittlich, deskriptiv und analytisch. Das Durchschnittsalter unserer Stichprobe betrug 75,2 Jahre mit einer Standardabweichung von 7,9 und Extremwerten von 65 und 95 Jahren, bei einem Geschlechterverh ltnis (M/F) von 0,89 Die Pr valenz der Post-Stroke-Depression betrug 41,8 %, die Pr valenz von PTBS betrug 27,3 %. Die Mechanismen der Depression nach Schlaganfall und PTBS sind vielf ltig und machen das Studium der psychiatrischen Auswirkungen des Schlaganfalls zu einem bevorzugten Treffpunkt f r die Geisteswissenschaften.

L'ictus un evento che minaccia la vita e l'integrit fisica e/o psichica del soggetto che vi esposto. Ci sono molte manifestazioni psichiatriche secondarie agli ictus. Tra queste manifestazioni, il disturbo da stress post traumatico (PTSD) una delle manifestazioni neuropsichiatriche pi comuni. Gli obiettivi di questo lavoro erano stimare la prevalenza del PTSD post-ictus nei soggetti anziani e ricercare i fattori ad esso correlati. Il nostro studio era trasversale, descrittivo e analitico. L'et media del nostro campione era di 75,2 anni con una deviazione standard di 7,9 ed estremi di 65 e 95 anni, con un rapporto tra i sessi (M/F) di 0,89 La prevalenza della depressione post-ictus era del 41,8%, la prevalenza del PTSD era del 27,3% I meccanismi della depressione post-ictus e del PTSD sono ricchi e fanno dello studio dell'impatto psichiatrico dell'ictus un luogo di incontro privilegiato per le scienze della mente.

Stroke is an event threatening the life and the physical and/or psychological integrity of the subject who is exposed to it. There are many psychiatric manifestations secondary to strokes. Among these manifestations, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is one of the most common neuropsychiatric manifestations. The objectives of this work were to estimate the prevalence of post-stroke PTSD in elderly subjects and to research the factors that are correlated to it. Our study was cross-sectional, descriptive and analytical. The average age of our sample was 75.2 years with a standard deviation of 7.9 and extremes of 65 and 95 years, with a sex ratio (M/F) of 0.89. The prevalence of post-stroke depression was 41.8 %, the prevalence of PTSD was 27.3%. The mechanisms of post-stroke depression and PTSD are rich and make the study of the psychiatric impact of stroke a privileged meeting place for the sciences of the mind.
