Die Arbeit setzt sich mit der Kooperation der beiden Institutionen Kirche (Evangelische und Katholische Kirche) und Rundfunk auseinander, die durch teilweise sich uberlagernde aber auch widerstreitende Interessen und Ziele gekennzeichnet ist. Aufgrund dieser Ausgangssituation ist es wesentliches Ziel dieser Arbeit, die rechtlichen und tatsachlichen Interessen und Rechtspositionen der Kirchen einerseits und der Rundfunkveranstalter andererseits in einen angemessenen und verfassungsrechtlich zulassigen Ausgleich zu bringen. Die beschriebene Loesung abgestufter Mitgestaltungsmoeglichkeiten entspricht den zulassigen und gebotenen Vorgaben, wonach die Bindung der Rundfunkanstalten an das kirchliche Eigenverstandnis in dem Masse an Gewicht gewinnt, je naher die im Programm darzustellenden kirchlichen Angelegenheiten dem Schutzbereich des Art. 4 GG zuzuordnen sind. Dabei ermoeglicht die vorgenommene Unterteilung in Verkundigungssendungen, religioese Sendungen und sonstige Sendungen uber Fragen der oeffentlichen Verantwortung der Kirchen eine differenziertere Betrachtungsweise. Als Ergebnis der Untersuchungen ergeben sich im Hinblick auf die Ausgestaltung der Mitgestaltungsrechte im privaten Rundfunk geringfugige Abweichungen von dem beim oeffentlich-rechtlichen Rundfunk gefundenen Loesungsmodell. Dem privaten Rundfunkveranstalter ist dabei tendenziell eine groessere Unabhangigkeit und Freiheit bei der Ausgestaltung seines redaktionellen Programms einzuraumen.
