Few institutions have as profound an impact on the American theatrical landscape as the Tony Award-winning Williamstown Theatre Festival, located in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Winner of the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Cost of Living was first seen at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in 2016, and had its UK premiere at Hampstead Theatre, London, in January 2019.

One of Manhattan's most established play festivals, the Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival fosters the work of emerging writers, giving them the exposure of publication and representation.
