"My twin Sam, he lives next door. He's brave, and strong, and so much more. He runs fast, and I chase quick, and at games for two, he is my first pick." Demonstrate the importance of diversity with Matthew Alexander's uplifting new children's book, Twins. With vivid illustrations and an easy-to-read rhyming scheme, kids will rejoice at this story of two boys who can't seem to see any differences between them at all. Through the use of whimsical verse and everyday adventures, Sam and his friend dismiss the small and insignificant differences that exist between them by concentrating on all the things they do share in common. These two buddies demonstrate to everyone that true friendship is deeper, stronger, and more durable than the color of their skin. From wide smiles and a love of dirt-covered trucks to an affinity for climbing trees and a fondness for cookies with every snack, these two boys aren't just best friends-they're twins Twins proves itself to be the rare children's book that finds a perfect home within today's ever diversifying society. Its themes of friendship, love, and equality are truly timeless, making this the kind of book that will speak to kids for generations to come.

The electrifying true story of the pursuit for the man behind al Qaeda's suicide bombing campaign in Iraq Kill or Capture is a true-life thriller that tells the story of senior military interrogator Matthew Alexander's adrenaline-filled, "outside the wire" pursuit of a notorious Syrian mass murderer named Zafar--the leader of al Qaeda in northern Iraq--a killer with the blood of thousands of innocents on his hands. In a breathless thirty-day period, Alexander and a small Special Operations task force brave the hazards of the Iraqi insurgency to conduct dangerous kill-or-capture missions and hunt down a murderer. Kill or Capture immerses readers in the dangerous world of battlefield interrogations as the author and his team climb the ladder of al Qaeda leadership in a series of raids, braving roadside bombs, near death by electrocution and circles within circles of lies.

Finding Abu Musab al Zarqawi, the leader of Al Qaeda in Iraq, had long been the U. S. military's top priority trumping even the search for Osama bin Laden. No brutality was spared in trying to squeeze intelligence from Zarqawi's suspected associates. But these "force on force" techniques yielded exactly nothing, and, in the wake of the Abu Ghraib scandal, the military rushed a new breed of interrogator to Iraq. Matthew Alexander, a former criminal investigator and head of a handpicked interrogation team, gives us the first inside look at the U. S. military's attempt at more civilized interrogation techniques and their astounding success. Matthew and his team decided to get to know their opponents. Who were these monsters? Who were they working for? Every day the " gators" matched wits with a rogues' gallery of suspects brought in by Special Forces: egomaniacs, bloodthirsty adolescents, opportunistic stereo repairmen, Sunni clerics horrified by the sectarian bloodbath, al Qaeda fanatics, and good people in the wrong place at the wrong time. This account is an unputdownable thriller more of a psychological suspense story than a war memoir and a reminder that we don't have to become our enemy to defeat him."

"Whole System Working" is an approach that enables people to find sustainable solutions to local problems. It is also a theoretical approach to organizational development that views groups of people who share a common purpose as a "living system". Based on King's Fund work over four years with health agencies and their local partners in housing, local government, the independent sector, transport, and local people, this book describes the founding principles which characterize the approach, gives examples of its application in practice, and answers common questions.
