Ein weiterer Streifen (Tonfilm 1936) mit dem gleichen Titel soll offiziell auch auf dieser Erz hlung basieren, hat aber kaum etwas mit dem zu tun, was Meredith Nicholson in diesem Buch verfasst hat. brigens: Meredith, der Vorname des Originalautors, ist unisex, und geh rt in diesem Fall zu einer m nnlichen Person. Das Buch verkaufte sich so schnell, dass die Drucker das Gold-Relief des Kerzenhalters auf dem Cover durch gelbe Farbe ersetzen mussten, da das Blattgold nicht so schnell beschafft werden konnte, wie das Publikum nach dem Buch verlangt hatte.
