Michael Meyer geht den Fragen nach, welche Optionen Lehrpersonen bzw. Schulbuchautoren und -autorinnen haben, um mathematische Sätze entdecken, prüfen und/oder begründen zu lassen, was den Prozess der Bildung eines mathematischen Begriffs auszeichnet und welche inhaltlichen bzw. strukturellen Zusammenhänge zwischen Begriffen und Sätzen bestehen. Er präsentiert dazu zwei aufeinander aufbauende theoretische Ansätze, indem er mathematikdidaktische, philosophische und soziologische Theorien miteinander verbindet. Seine Analyseergebnisse münden in konkreten Lernumgebungen, deren empirischer Einsatz und die anschließende theoretische Rekonstruktion Bedingungen und (realisierbare) Möglichkeiten von Mathematiklernen verdeutlichen.?

Diese der Neuen Politikgeschichte verpflichtete Studie untersucht die Reprasentationspolitik der Weimarer Republik anhand der drei Staatsbesuche, die zwischen 1920 und 1933 stattfanden. Durch die umfangreiche Auswertung der einschlagigen deutschen und englischen Archivbestande, sowie die Einbeziehung der nationalen wie internationalen Pressereaktionen wird ihre grosse politische und gesellschaftliche Bedeutung deutlich. Der Mythos von der "symbolarmen Republik" erweist sich in der Analyse als haltlos, da eine das staatliche Selbstverstandnis der Republik betonende Reprasentationspolitik erkennbar wird.

Im heutigen gesellschaftlichen Verst ndnis wird mit dem Begriff der Hierarchie meistens die Struktur der ffentlichen Verwaltung assoziiert. Hierarchie ist aber nicht nur in der staatstheoretischen Sichtweise von gro er Bedeutung, sondern in nahezu allen sozialen Systemen menschlichen Zusammenlebens fest integriert. In vielen dieser Systeme und Gruppierungen ist sie durch teilweise weit zur ckliegende religi se oder ideologische Erfahrungen tief verwurzelt. Gegenstand dieser Arbeit soll vornehmlich Hierarchie in privat-betrieblichen Organisationen sein, und sich am Beispiel eines Automobilkonzerns orientieren. In Organisationen besteht sowohl eine horizontale Autonomie einzelner organisatorischer Unterabteilungen, bedingt durch die Zusammenfassung von Aufgaben zu unabh ngig voneinander wahrnehmbaren Aufgabenkomplexen zur Erreichung der von der Organisationsleitung gesetzten Oberziele, als auch eine - unterschiedlich ausgepr gte - vertikale Autonomie gegen ber bergeordneten Instanzen durch die Delegation von Zust ndigkeiten und Erteilung von Kompetenzen zur Erh hung der selbstst ndigen Zielerreichung. Es zeigt sich, dass Organisationen nicht ohne eine interne Hierarchie auskommen, um sowohl Kompetenzen und Zust ndigkeiten, als auch Kontrolle und gegebenenfalls Sanktionen zu koordinieren. Zun chst werde ich auf das Prinzip der Hierarchie als zentrales Merkmal von Organisationsstrukturen eingehen um im darauf folgenden Abschnitt die daraus resultierende Verantwortung aufzuzeigen. Der letzte Teil dieser Arbeit wird sich mit m glichen M ngeln am Strukturprinzip der Hierarchie befassen.
