One sometimes feels that one owes a debt of gratitude for the ecstasies that one is given along the road of life, and these poems are an attempt of mine to pay that debt, by paying it forward, sharing certain transports of delight. The beauty of nature and the charm of rustic life are the chief themes here, but love, marriage, and family, Christian faith, and a little humor, are mixed in. This volume contains the following poems: 1. Autumn Frenzy 2. Maple Glory 3. Nature's Sabbath 4. A Rustic Romance 5. The Merry War 6. Winter Bloom 7. The Snow Clad Wood 8. April Thunder 9. The Impatient Gardener 10. The River Painter 11. Swimming Hole 12. Blackberries 13. The Vision of Moses 14. The Apple Tree Parable 15. The Fat Cat 16. Selling Goats 17. Highway Sunset 18. Aspen Gold

This monograph provides a detailed explanation how the Great Depression and the current financial crisis and economic contraction in the United States were both caused by and exacerbated by government, not by capitalism. The monograph provides a well-reasoned free market alternative to current statist policies with respect to economic recovery in the United States.
