Title 39 presents regulations governing the policies and procedures related to international mail, domestic mail, restrictions on private carriage of mail, personnel, postage meters, procurement of property and services for the postal service, applicability of Treasury Department regulations and the disbursement of money orders, and special regulations relating to the environment. Regulations regarding the procedures for claims, damages, and stolen mail; rules of practice regarding mailability; providing/canceling service; and mail disputes are delineated as well. Additions and revisions to this section of the code are posted annually by July. Publication follows within six months.

Title 33 presents regulations administered by the Coast Guard and the Corps of Engineers that govern the following: navigation, international navigation rules, inland navigation rules, vessel operating regulations, anchorages, bridges, security of vessels, waterfront facilities, marine pollution financial responsibility and compensation, outer continental shelf activities, deepwater ports, pollution, ports and waterways safety, boating safety, permits for dams, dikes, structures or work impacting navigable waters, and more.

Title 24 presents regulations governing housing and urban development as set forth by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation. Topics covered include: fair housing; mortgage and loan insurance programs; and slum clearance and urban renewal. Additions and revisions to this section of the code are posted annually by April. Publication follows within six months.

Title 17 presents regulations governing commodities and securities exchanges. It includes the rules of Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Department of the Treasury.

Title 26 presents regulations, procedures, and practices that govern income tax, estate and gift taxes, employment taxes, and miscellaneous excise taxes as set forth by the Internal Revenue Service. Additions and revisions to this section of the code are posted annually by April. Publication follows within six months.

Title 4 presents regulations regarding appropriate procedures and practices for the General Accounting Office (GAO) and Federal Claims Collection Standards. For the former: the personnel system, general claims, transportation, standardized fiscal procedures, records, standards for waiver of claims and allowances for expenses are covered. The scope and standards for the handling of claims are included in the latter. Additions and revisions to this section of the code are posted annually by January.
