This is a reprint of the long-unavailable first printing of the Proceedings from the Tolkien Centenary Conference in 1992, organized by the Tolkien Society (UK) and the Mythopoeic Society (USA). The volume collects essays on J. R. R. Tolkien and his works as well as essays on other mythopoeic authors. This reprint faithfully recreates the text of the original paperback book, although there are some minor variances in cover and internal margins.
